"This way!" Zen ran to show the way to Rion, who was in disguise. Zen was so touched by Odette's kindness. He felt guilty for tricking her, so he ran out of the alley and met a man. He was asking someone about a woman with brown hair and blue eyes.
"Just go straight, after this, there is no turning! I have to see how my brother is!" said Zen quickly, then ran to meet his brother, while Rion ran very fast down the path that Zen had pointed out.
His heart was beating very fast and it hit his chest very hard. He swore in his heart that if those men hurt or did anything to Odette, he would show them all the torments of hell.

Odette was still trying to get away from the men. Her voice was getting hoarse from shouting too loudly.
"GET OFF ME! RIOOOON!"
"SHUT UP OR I WILL HIT YOU!"
"Don't you dare try to do that if you still want to live!" A cold voice was heard, accompanied by the echo of footsteps. It stopped the movement of the man who wanted to slap Odette.
"Ri-Rion." Odette's tears flowed profusely.
Was she dreaming? Rion had really come to save her. Even though the man was covering half his face with a black mask, from the man's gray hair and hazel eyes, she could tell that it was Rion.
Besides, Odette knew his voice very well.
The four men exchanged glances, then laughed at Rion's threat.
"HAHAHA, gosh! I laughed myself to cry because of that joke," said the man standing in front of Odette. A few moments later, he smiled sarcastically.
"Then let's prove it, I wonder… if I hit this woman, will I really die?" he added mockingly.
He raised his hand to hit Odette, but before he could hit her, his clothes were violently pulled back by Rion. The man turned to hit Rion, but his punch was blocked easily.
Before the man could even think of his next attack, his body was slammed into the ground. He was slammed so hard that his nose bled and some of his teeth even fell out. Then his body was turned over, he died a second after his neck was stepped on.
Rion really stood by his words and proved the reason why he was given the title of 'the devil' by his enemies.
The men, who had watched their friend die in less than ten seconds, could only stare in silence while gulping. They were not the only ones, Odette too.
"Next." Rion's tone sounded very flat and emotionless, but that was what made him sound so scary. A person who had no emotions would not hesitate to kill or do other s******c actions.
"On the count of three, if you release her, I will spare your lives." Rion looked straight at them, then started walking towards Odette while counting.
"One… two…" Before the count ended, the two men that were holding Odette's hands immediately let her go. They then ran to save themselves, along with the other two friends. But Rion did not let them run away without teaching them a valuable lesson.
He fought the four lowly bandits and finished the fight in less than ten seconds. One of them was unconscious after he was thrown against the wall, the other couldn't get up after being slammed to the ground.
Then the remaining two had fractures on their hands. The two men were the men who had held Odette's hands. They fell to their knees after their stomachs were hit hard by Rion's knees.
Odette looked at Rion, who was now standing in front of her with teary eyes. "Ri-"
"Stupid girl," said Rion, which stunned Odette.
"What?" Odette's eyes opened wide.
"I told you to go so that you don't get hurt because of Lucifer. If you want to go, go to a safe place, not a place like this. What if I came too late? Do you want to make me feel even more guilty?"
"But this..." Odette was surprised when Rion suddenly pulled her in and hugged her.
"Thank God, you're okay," said Rion, as he tightened his embrace, then gently stroked Odette's hair.
In Rion's arms, Odette couldn't help but roll her eyes, because she was very surprised by what Rion was doing right now. Her face flushed red and her heart, which had just calmed down, was beating rapidly again.
"Let's go," Rion said. He let go of his embrace and took Odette's hand. He then led her to walk, but he stopped when Odette followed him with a limp.
"What happened?"
"Ah, I fell while trying to escape. My foot accidentally slipped into the hole in the bridge." Odette pointed to a wooden bridge not far from them. "The skin is peeling off from rubbing against the edge of the board."
Odette lifted her dress slightly, and looked at the condition of her leg.
"It was pretty bad, no wonder it hurts," she mumbled.
"Stupid," said Rion, which made Odette glare at him. Before Odette could protest, Rion quickly carried the woman, which surprised Odette again.
"W-what are you doing?" asked Odette with a red face.
"Don't get me wrong. I'm doing this so we can get out of this place quickly," said Rion as he walked.
"How did you know I was here?"
"Zen."
"What?" Odette's eyes blinked. Zen? The kid who tricked her?
"How did you know the boy?" she asked, and Rion informed her that Zen suddenly approached him when he asked someone about Odette. Zen had told him that Odette was in trouble, and then showed him the way to the alley.
"I don't understand why you are so easily deceived, even by a small child. How stupid," Rion sneered, which made Odette chirp immediately. In an irritated tone, the woman recounted the sad story Zen had told her.
"He told me that his brother was seriously ill and wanted to take her brother to the health center. But he didn't have the money. I felt sorry for him, as he begged me while sobbing, and said that both his parents had died, so I couldn't refuse him. As a doctor, it was my duty to help the sick," she retorted.
"After all, I'm sure if you were in my position and heard the child's sad story, you would have also done the same thing. Because his acting was very convincing, how would I know if he was lying to me," said Odette with just one breath. Rion listened to the chirp from the right ear and it went out from the left ear.
The man continued walking, while he looked straight ahead. His eyebrows slightly bent when he saw Zen, who was walking in front of him while carrying a child on his back. Most likely the child was his little brother.
"The boy was not lying," said Rion flatly.
"What?"
"Look over there."
She followed Rion's finger. Odette looked ahead and was slightly surprised to see Zen carrying his younger brother out of the alley. Odette immediately remembered when Zen asked the jerks to take his brother to the health center, but was beaten instead.
He didn't mean to deceive her at all, it was circumstances that forced him to do this.
"ZEN!" shouted Odette, which made the boy stop and turn to look at them. "Rion, let's go faster!"
"Don't order me!"
Ten seconds later, they finally arrived in front of Zen. Odette asked Rion to put her down, and Rion complied.
