Rion's And Rose's Love Story

"Ahahaha, sorry, Rose, but I don't dare to mediate the emperor's fight with the king. I still want to live," Lucas said and smiled. There was no worry on his face at all. This annoyed Rose.

The woman now turned to David. She persuaded David to stop the duel, but just like Lucas, David also still loved his life.

Meanwhile, down below, Dario and Rion had exchanged attacks and displayed a fierce sword duel.

"Don't expect yourself to get out of the arena alive," Dario said while doing a quick attack that knocked Rion back, but Rion responded calmly.

"You really want to kill the father of your grandson?"

"My grandson will be fine without you." Dario's face was already red with anger, and Rion was enjoying the sight immensely.

"Then Rose D. Panther will be very sad," he teased, and made Dario's anger flare up even more.

"HOW DARE YOU CHANGE ROSE'S LAST NAME WITH YOUR NAME!" Dario screamed so loudly that the veins in his neck bulged out. He lunged with his sword ready to s***h.

"Rion!" Rose stood up in shock when she saw her father lunging at Rion with murderous intent, but luckily, Rion dodged well and then counter-attacked. This caused the audience to cheer and applaud loudly.

"Wow! It looks like Rion is getting serious. Emperor Dario is in danger now," Lucas commented with a smile.

"Emperor Dario can't possibly lose to a snot like that," David sarcastically said.

"Well, that's why I said Emperor Dario is in danger. He is old, his bones must have been very fragile while King Rion, he is young and all his bones are still very strong."

"Would you like a bet with me, boy?"

"Why not? I'm sure the king will win."

"Don't be so sure, or you'll be disappointed. You haven't seen your king dancing like an insect since a long time ago." David saw that Rion was being pushed back by Emperor Dario.

"Oh, I saw it very clearly," Lucas said, smiling as Rion just dodged Emperor Dario's attack, then swiftly slashed at the emperor's back.

"CAN YOU BOTH BE SILENT?!" Rose screamed in annoyance. For a moment, she glared at Lucas and David alternately and then soon her eyes started to water.

Lucas was surprised to see that and felt guilty. He realized he wasn't supposed to be like that earlier and considered Rose's feelings. He wanted to apologize but before he could speak, Rose turned and hurried out of the stands.

Lucas actually wanted to chase but Trish held his hand.

"Don't be careless. Friendship can be broken because of love," said Trish, who already knew Lucas' feelings for Rose.

He was worried that if Lucas chased after Rose, His Majesty the King would be suspicious of Lucas. They all knew that their king was always quick to notice something odd, it was hard to hide anything from him.

"What are you talking about? I don't understand," Lucas said, looking sadly at the fight.

BANG!

Emperor Dario was thrown against the wall. All the audience cheered for the king and this made the emperor's heart boil. He was upset because he felt like he was going to lose.

Rion picked up Dario's fallen sword, then threw the sword back, with his sword, he ran and jumped at the emperor. Luckily, the emperor immediately rolled over, got up and they were involved in a physical struggle.

"FATHER, RION, STOP!"

Lucas, David and everyone were shocked when they saw Rose enter the arena.

"God, this girl is so reckless." Lucas immediately got up from his seat and Trish followed him. The two of them also entered the arena to coax Rose out, but it didn't go unnoticed by Rion.

"Lucas, let me go!"

"No, you will get hurt. They can hurt you accidentally." Lucas tried to make Rose understand. For some reason Rion felt that there was something odd about the way Lucas was worried about Rose.

"Let me go!" Rose violently slapped Lucas' hand that was holding her hand and then ran towards her father and Rion who were fighting.

"Father, stop it!"

Without hesitation, Rose ran to the center and repelled her father's attack on Rion. She fell unconscious shortly after being hit by her father.

"Rose?!" Rion swiftly caught the girl and immediately took her out of the arena. Dario, who had remained motionless in shock, immediately followed.

In the infirmary, Rion and Dario panicked and told everyone to call the doctor. The two men scrambled to pay attention to Rose. Meanwhile, from the outside, Lucas was standing and watching. His face looked really worried but he needed to be able to cover his worries tightly.

Trish could only stare sadly at his best friend's condition.

After a while, Rose finally opened her eyes. Rion and Dario in unison asked how she was.

"Are you alright? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." Dario held and kissed Rose's hand, he felt so guilty.

"I'm fine, Father." Rose got up and hugged her father. She said that she loved her father very much, but she also loved Rion, she didn’t want to lose them both or lose any of them. "Father, I beg you, bless me and Rion. We love each other, please don't separate us."

Before answering, Dario first looked at Rion, he was still annoyed with the young man but at this rate, it seemed like he had to give in.

"Okay." That one word made a smile on Rose's face, she hugged her father very tightly.

"Doctor, how is my grandson, he's fine right?" Dario asked which made the doctor feel confused.

"Grandson?"

"Um. What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

"Um… Father, actually I'm not pregnant. I said that to get you to give up on the duel but that failed. I'm sorry, Father," said Rose confessing.

"Rose, if you always lie, I'll cut your tongue off."

Rose apologized then tightened her arms around her father, while Dario glared at Rion.

The news of King Arion D. Panther’s and Princess Rose Archadela's wedding spread very quickly. From the day Emperor Dario gave his approval to Rion’s and Rose's love, people never stopped talking about the lovebirds' marriage until one month later, the much-awaited wedding day finally arrived.

Because the wedding party not only united Rion and Rose but also united Panthera and Archadia, the party was held very lively and even lasted up to a week.

"Rion, please take good care of my daughter. She is my beloved daughter," said Queen Isabella, which was answered by a nod and a smile by Rion.

Meanwhile, Dario still didn't like his son-in-law, but he tried his best to temper his ego. He forced a smile and congratulated the bride and groom.

Before leaving, he stepped closer to Rion and whispered, "If Rose cries because of you, I will crush you to the last bit."

Rose waved to her family's chariot group which slowly drifted away and left Panthera.

Although not as expressive as Rose, Rion looked very happy. He wrapped his arms around his wife's waist and quickly, but gently, he kissed Rose's very sweet red lips.
