"Ugh! So heavy." Odette held her breath, struggling to lift the body of the man on top of her. After a while of struggling, she finally managed to get Lucifer off of her, then she immediately sat down.
She picked up her cell phone, which was lying on the floor, then she turned it on. She was grateful that the object was not damaged. She then turned to look at the man, who was lying on his stomach in an unconscious state.
"Rion, hey, wake up," she said, while gently patting Rion's cheek for a moment after she flipped the man's body onto his back.
"Ri ..." Odette paused her sentence when she remembered about Lucifer, who really hated being called by the name Rion. While Odette was still in her thoughts, Rion opened his eyes and looked confused when he saw Odette.
"You?" He immediately got up.
"Thank God, you're awake, Rion," said Odette, when she realized that the man sitting across from her was Rion. Finally, the tension was over and she could breathe a sigh of relief.
Rion held his head which felt heavy and a bit sore as if his hair had just been pulled apart. He was also holding his cheeks and neck. They were stung as if they had been scratched.
He didn't remember anything about his fight with Odette, nor the kiss that just happened. He looked at the woman sitting next to him and was slightly surprised when he saw Odette's disheveled appearance. The woman's hair was very disheveled.
"What happened? Did I relapse again?" he asked.
Odette nodded. "Well, Lucifer showed up, but don't worry because ..." Odette paused her sentence when her neck was suddenly touched by Rion.
"Rion ..." Odette said quietly when she saw Rion's eyes staring at her neck without saying anything. There was sadness in those hazel eyes. Rion must have felt guilty. He could kind of guess what his alter had done to Odette from the red marks around her neck. Did Lucicer try to strangle Odette? Sigh.
"Rion, it is just a small wound. I'm fine, really," said Odette, explaining her situation, so Rion wouldn't blame himself.
Hearing that, Rion pulled his hand from Odette's neck. He snorted and then exhaled loudly.
"I'm sorry," he said.
"Why are you apologizing? I once said that you shouldn't apologize for a mistake you didn't do, and it's not your fault," said Odette. She then stood up and Rion followed.
"From now on, you don't need to be my doctor anymore, you're fired," said Rion, surprising Odette, who was tidying up her appearance. The woman looked at Rion, who was also looking at her with a flat expression.
With a slightly annoyed tone, Odette protested Rion's attitude of dismissal and always threatened to fire her. The woman also explained at length, about the medicine that couldn't be made in just thirty minutes, because the rice and spices had to grind until they were really smooth.
"I took me ten minutes to go to the kitchen. After that, I had to gather all the ingredients, wash everything, then grind it, and then blah blah blah."
The woman was chirping like a bird, but she was silenced for a moment when Rion said, "I just don't want you to get hurt."
Rion stared at Odette intently for a few seconds before he turned around.
"You can go now," he said, as he walked towards the bed, but he stopped when Odette spoke.
"I'm not leaving you halfway. I've decided I'll help you, so I'll do it. You're not the only one that gets to make decisions, I can too."
Rion was stunned, then turned around to face Odette. His eyes met Odette's eyes. The pair of blue eyes looked sharper than usual.
"Rion, all jobs have risks. When I decided to become a psychiatrist, I knew the risks I was taking. So, you don't have to blame yourself for this."
Rion stared at Odette without blinking.
"Rion." Odette lowered her voice and continued, "Please give me a chance to help you."
"If you do this because you want to go home. Don't do it again. I will negotiate with Aathreya so he can send you back to your time. Get out of here, Odette," said Rion, which made Odette suddenly want to cry.
Her chest was tight and she felt very sad. She didn't know why she felt that way. Her heart ached when she heard Rion telling her to leave like this. Should she do as he said? She could go home without having to bother.
Rion was surprised to see the blue eyes that had been looking at him, were suddenly filled with tears and then soon burst.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you crying?" he asked her in confusion.
'I don't know either,' Odette thought. Receiving no answer, Rion repeated his question again and Odette's response took him by surprise.
"NO, DO I KNOW WHY I'M CRYING! NO, I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M SO SAD, AND I DON'T KNOW WHY I CARE SO MUCH ABOUT YOU!" she shouted, then she immediately walked out of the room crying, and left Rion frozen in his place.

Trish was surprised by Anwen's arrival at his residence. Instantly, he was worried that something happened to the king while he was away, and Anwen came to tell him about it.
Anwen was quite surprised to see Trish, who had cut his hair. "Princess Anwen, what are you doing here? Did something happen to the king?" he asked, not long after Anwen got off the horse.
"My brother is fine, and I'm here to visit uncle and aunt," Anwen said, which caused Trish to furrow his eyebrows.
Before Trish could say anything, an old woman who was none other than his mother, came up to them.
"Anwen."
"Ah, Auntie, how are you?"
Anwen stepped closer. She then held Trish's mother's hands together with a big smile. The closeness between his mother and Anwen surprised Trish. Since when did the two women become so close?
"Were you so busy that you only came to visit this old lady now?" Trish's mother asked.
"Sorry, Auntie. Actually, I wanted to come here a few days ago, but King Elbert and his daughter came to the palace, so I had to wait until they left first," Anwen explained.
"So, King Elbert has left the palace?" Trish asked, and Anwen nodded.
"Talk about that later. Anwen, come on in. I'll make your favorite banana layer cake."
"If you insist, Aunt Grash, I can't refuse, hehe." Anwen scratched the back of her head, while Trish who heard the women's words made a strange expression.
"Yeah. I insist."
Trish was dumbfounded. His eyes blinked a few times. He was very confused about how and when his mother and Princess Anwen got so close. His mother didn't even use honorifics and mention the title 'Princess' while talking to the purple-eyed girl.
When they got to the kitchen, Anwen offered to help but Trish's mother politely refused that it wasn't necessary as there was a maid helping her. She asked Anwen to wait for her in the living room with Trish.
There were two reasons Grash didn't allow Anwen to help her. First, she still remembered that Anwen was a princess, even though the young girl had asked not to be treated like a princess, but as her daughter instead, Grash still couldn't immediately ignore Anwen's status as a princess.
The second reason was that the last time Anwen helped her cook, the young girl carried out various experiments which caused an explosion and destroyed her kitchen. Fortunately, there were no casualties at that time.
Although feeling a little bad for not helping, Anwen finally nodded and obeyed Grash.
