To Capture Lucifer's Soul

Odette realized that Lucifer was playing with her. She felt irritated, but she also still couldn't handle her fear. Her heart was beating very fast, it was hammering her chest hard. 

Odette panicked. What should she do? She clenched her cold hands, then realized that she was still holding her cell phone. Meanwhile, Lucifer picked up the one remaining bowl shard. 

"This time, I won't miss," he said, as he threw the shards, and then he grabbed Odette, getting ready to throw her. He then froze instantly when the camera flash from Odette's phone hit him. 

"What's that?" he asked, with his eyes wide open.

"Your soul has been captured," said Odette, showing the photo of Lucifer that was captured by her camera. 

"This is a soul confinement device, if you come near or hurt me, I will destroy this thing and your soul will be destroyed with it," she added.

"Huh." Lucifer smirked again. He was about to continue his delayed intentions.

"Wait! If you throw me and I die, you will never meet Rose," said Odette, who stopped Lucifer's movement.

Lucifer glared sharply, "What do you mean?"

Odette's hands moved quickly to press the screen and then applied a black and white filter to Lucifer's photo. 

"See, your soul is already very dark, if you continue to hurt others, your soul will be like this." Odette added a monkey head sticker.

Lucifer was flabbergasted. His eyes opened wide again, as he watched his head turn into a monkey's head. Odette tried to suppress her smile. She realized that at this point, she had almost succeeded in tricking Lucifer.

"If I die, then your soul will be trapped here forever. Except, when you die, then this soul will be free to go to the afterlife, where Rose is currently in. This monkey head will make Rose unable to recognize you, and of course, Rose will choose Rion," Odette explained quickly.

Lucifer held his breath and gritted his teeth very hard. His left hand clenched tightly, and his eyes looked at Odette with anger. Lucifer's expression made Odette tense. She was worried that her plan would fail, and she had actually gotten herself into big trouble for making Lucifer angry.

'I'm doomed,' Odette thought. 

One second later, she was startled, and her reflex shifted as Lucifer threw her. She turned to see the ceramic shards, they shattered into smaller shards. Another surprise came again, when the phone in her hand was suddenly grabbed by Lucifer and her neck was strangled, and she was pushed until her back hit the wall.

"Let go of my soul or I'll break your neck," Lucifer said angrily, he looked furious.

Odette freaked out. She was trying to get some oxygen as Lucifer gripped her neck very tightly. She tried to keep her feet on the floor.

In the midst of her pain and panic, she realized one thing. Lucifer had believed that his soul was truly confined. In order to save her life, she thought of an idea.

"O-only I-I can liberate your soul. If-if I die, ah, you too will be over," she said with difficulty. Both hands tried to release Lucifer's grip, but it was in vain.

Lucifer's face was red to the ears. He felt like breaking the neck of the woman in front of him right now and smashing her head against the wall. However, he held back, as he thought about his imprisoned soul. 

He released his grip. Odette sat up, gasping for air. The woman immediately inhaled as much oxygen as possible, while Lucifer stared at his black and white, monkey-headed photo on the phone screen, which was still on.

Lucifer thought about Odette's words, about Rose who would prefer Rion over him because Lucifer's head had turned into a monkey's head.

Odette, who managed to catch her breath, saw Lucifer was deep in thought. She took advantage of that. She stood up, grabbed her cell phone quickly, and ran.

Lucifer immediately chased her. There was a chase, like a cat and a mouse. Lucifer was annoyed that Odette wasn't easy to catch. He got even more annoyed when Odette made him run around the bed non-stop. He felt toyed with.

How dare this girl toy with him.

Tch!

He jumped onto the bed and made the mattress a stepping stone to get to Odette.

Odette suddenly stopped her fast pace when Lucifer suddenly landed in front of her. The girl immediately turned around. She planned to run again, but Lucifer immediately caught her.

The two humans were now fighting each other over the cell phone.

"Give it to me!" said Lucifer, while hugging Odette's body from behind very tightly. He was quite overwhelmed trying to hold the girl. She continued to struggle and jump, like a fish in a dry pond.

"No! I won't!" Odette lifted half of her free arm and tugged at the man's long hair.

"Arrgh! Damn girl!" Lucifer tried to hold back the pain and the urge to crush Odette's body and focus on snatching the cell phone that imprisoned his soul but the girl dropped the object and kicked it in front of it, which made Lucifer immediately rush to take the square object, but he was lost quickly to Odette.

"ARGH!" Lucifer shouted in annoyance. This girl eroded his patience, which was very thin to begin with. The chase for the second half started, but it didn't last long. Odette slipped and fell to the ground, shortly after stepping on the spilled medicine she had brought for Rion.

"MY SOUL!" Lucifer screamed in panic, he saw the square object that they had been fighting over, thrown and tumbled under the cupboard.

"My soul, my soul, my soul." Lucifer was in panic, worried that his soul would be destroyed. 

The psychopathic man suddenly looked ridiculous and stupid, as he crawled on the floor like a lizard. He tried to reach for the object that he thought had imprisoned his soul.

A little more, a little more. Come on. His hands were reaching out, trying to reach the phone, which was only five fingers away.

"I can do it!" Odette's slender hand easily grabbed the object. Lucifer had worked so hard to get that, and sacrificed his pride as a ruthless psychopath. This woman .…

"Ah!" Odette screamed. Lucifer pounced on her from behind as she tried to get up and run away. As a result, they rolled and rolled on the floor.

Seriously!

If Lucifer didn't remember that only Odette could free his soul, no one knew what kind of death he would have given her.

"Arrgh! Let go, you stupid girl!" Lucifer cursed in annoyance as Odette pulled his hair.

"No! not before you give it back to me." 

Now it was Odette's turn to pounce on Lucifer from behind. She pulled the man's long hair. 

Either way, Odette had to get her cell phone again, because it contained many memories of her mother, and the world she lived in before. Besides that, she also believed that she could get a clue about her suddenly being stranded in medieval times.

Disgusted, Lucifer dropped the girl on the floor, then turned things around. Stupid Odette, she emotionally tugged at Lucifer's hair without considering that, by doing so, she would pull Lucifer's head down and fall on her.

"Huh?" Her eyes widened. She realized the stupid thing she had just done when the man's lips pressed against hers.

Lucifer's reaction was no different from Odette's. In fact, the man looked even more shocked by the current kiss. He froze like a statue, his bones shook, his face was pale and … he passed out.
