"She is nothing but a liar," I say as Edward sits me down on my bed and positions himself close to me.
I see how he looks at me, worried, as if he's angry about what just happened.
"You could have stayed on your own path. You know Kat is evil and dangerous, and she will do anything to ensure that you lose the baby."
I look at him, smile, and hold his hands in mine. I sit up straight as I whisper, "I don't care about her. She is not someone I'll be worried about. I will teach her a lesson, and I will make sure she pays for treating me this way."
