Uma stood still looking at the duo infront of her, in each others' arms. She felt her eyes welling up. Adi came out her arms and turned back. His right hand was on her shoulder. Uma immediately turned back and was about to hurry inside, when Adi called her aloud.
-"Uma !", she stopped and faced them.
-"Meet Nadira, my college buddy. And Nadira, meet Uma, my wife."
Nadira eyed her top to bottom with raised eyebrows. Uma felt a bit uncomfortable under her gaze, as if she was being judged.
-"Hi. Nice to meet you Uma.", Nadira spoke up.
-"Hi..nice to meet you too.", Uma said softly.
Adi requested Nadira to join them for breakfast which she accepted readily. Due to some reason Uma didnt like it. Uma went inside followed by Adi and Nadira.
