Uma was in History class busy chewing her pen's cap. History has never been able to interest her. Looking outside the window, she was busy gazing at the Saraswati Puja pandal decorations. There college was famous in the district for their Saraswati Puja. Each year a particular department was given the responsibility. And for this year, it was Philosophy.
Seeing her friends, from Philosophy dept., who too had History as a subject, she felt how lucky they were. And here she was sitting in this boring class.
