A week later
Evening
Uma was on her study area, with her book open. But her mind was somewhere else, as usual. She kept gazing outside the window thinking, thinking about her life. How things changed in this short span. Before, she could not stay even a day without her parents, but now its been more than two weeks, that she had seen them.
Her parents had gone to Delhi to spend some time with a relative, a few days back. It was then, that, she wanted to spend a day or two with her parents and asked Adi for his consent. Adi didn't deny, but his eyes said opposite. He didnot want Uma to get hurt again. Uma, too, didnot argue. May be she, too, didnot want to go away from him.
