My scalp still hurt from where that viper had a hold of me. As if she hasn't ruined my life enough, and now that I finally brought back my life together, there she is, once again, trying to ruin everything.
How happy was I, after graduating high school. No more Elizabeth. But no, she had to come back to my life like a cursed boomerang.
I am not giving up my career for that person. And knowing dad, he would force the company upon me this time.
I know exactly what to do.

"NO!!" Seb shouted. Always the dramatist.
I rolled my eyes at him, took out a beer from the fridge, and sat down on the couch. I changed the channel from whatever he was watching. The shrill voice of the actress was not something I wanted after an almost 24-hour shift. Neither did I want Seb's judgment. My mind was made up.
"You know you can't do that Trev," Seb said slowly when he saw that his outburst was of no use.
"Why not?" I asked, taking a sip from my beer.
"Because that's not right." He said while walking to his room.
Seb and I met through a common high school friend of ours. We met in med school. Seb dropped out of med school and opened a restaurant instead. Once I completed med school, we decided to rent an apartment together. It was quite spacey, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and open space for the kitchen, dining, and living room.
We are best friends, and he should have known from where I was coming. 'That's not right?' Yeah, like what she did to me was right. Like she wasn't cruel enough to scar me for life. She deserves this. She doesn't deserve any form of humanity.
No matter what happens, I will bring her to her downfall, make her lose herself. No matter what.
