“I’ll get it!” I yelled and headed for the door. Devon had called Robert and asked him to join us for dinner. Of course, we had an ulterior motive for doing so, but I was excited to see him, regardless. I opened the door to a smiling man in uniform.
“Officer McBride…” I gave him a brazen once-over and smirked. “Lookin’ good!”
He blushed, and tried to look annoyed, but failed.
