Barry was dead to the world when I quietly returned to the apartment for a shower and a quick change of clothes. Vern followed me into Barry’s apartment, which wasn’t unusual. However, this time, the creeper was actually standing there, watching me as I stepped out of the shower. I felt like turning around and taking another shower immediately. The man had absolutely no concept of boundaries. I could only be grateful that he disappeared the moment I busted him for spying on me. One of these days I was going to have to figure out how to send him packing, but at least he was gone for the moment.
