What to do?

1068 Words
When Brandon first told me about that awful woman dying, I was estatic, but then I questioned why he brought it up. Turned out that w***e had a child of his. She kept it a secret for 12 years. She made a will, stating in the event of her death that the father would be notified. She made an entire video telling him what had happened and spoke of her child. I was pissed! It took me years to get him to forget about her. He would sleep and sometimes dream of her calling out her name. Now she's crawled her way back to him, even in death. He insists on bringing her back here, saying that she's his daughter and that he needs to take care of her. I need to speak with Ava soon. She'll be able to help me get control back. I know she's out doing her thing right now, but I can't wait for her to come back home. After seeing that girls face in the dining room, my anger rose. Sierra minlinked me, claiming some new girl was being rude. She had dark skin and gray hair. Once I heard that, I rushed there. I could've burned her hair from her scalp the moment I saw it. She... how could she have the signature hair?? HOW!!! It wasn't fair!! After everything I did to ensure my daughter was the one to inherit that trait. This.... mongruel gets it. She's not even a full blooded wolf. She smells mostly human. And to top it off, she looks just like that w***e of a mother. I see the way he looks at her, as if seeing a missing piece of the puzzle after such a long time. I thought I could embarrass her in front of the members of the pack but instead, she embarrassed me and my daughter. I could've ripped her throat out right then and there, but I had to keep my composure in front of so many people. Brandon had the audacity to ask me to think of that thing as my own. Psssh... I could've laughed in his face. I overheard him and his lil friends talking about her in his office. They all believe her to be one of the Goddess chosen, even without a wolf, all because she has that retched silver hair. That hair should've belong to my Sierra. The Goddess chosen are always chosen from his mother's line and are always female, so I knew my son wouldn't inherit that gift. She couldn't possibly be that. She didn't even have a wolf for f**k's sake. But, if they thought that, I'm sure his parents, especially that annoying mother of his, will believe her to be that as well. That means I have to find a way to distract away from that wench and that stupid hair of hers. There's no point in cutting it, it'll just grow back. What to do? ... That mutt already won over his parents. I was trying to stay calm, but seeing her face just infuriates me and his mother is no different. She's never liked me cause she loved that girls' mother. Brandon said they've only met once, so I don't understand what the fuss is about. I finally got out of that room with my mate and Sierra. I didn't want her spending a lot of time with that girl. I was gonna have a discussion with Daniel about that as well. "What was that, Lisa? I thought I asked you to try and get along with her. But you just, not so discreetly, told her she's not yours and you tried to get my parents to reject her. What's up with that?!" He grabs my arm, stopping me from moving forward and to look at him. This is another reason I already hate his daughter. We've never agrued this much. She's creating a rift between us. I glared at him as he frowned at me. "I did no such thing, but I thought they had the right to know that she had no wolf. Besides, you can't expect me to just accept her as my own when she doesn't see me as her mother in the first place." "And you think excluding her will help? She may only be 12, but she's very cleaver and intelligent. She's gonna pick up on the things you say and do around her." I rolled my eyes. "She grew up in the human world. Their education systems lack. How smart could she be?" I folded my arms and frowned. He growled lowly at me, which had me a little nervous. "Do not speak of my daughter in that way. She's already graduated high school and is entering college by the end of summer. Mind your words, Lisa." I was shocked, to say the least. How the hell is she so advance? "Don't growl at me, Brandon. You can't expect me to just accept her so easily. She has the face of the woman you've loved for years! How would you feel if I paraded around my child from another time before meeting you and expecting you to take them in automatically!!??" "You know that's not the same! You're being unreasonable." "I'M BEING UNREASONABLE?" "Mommy, Daddy, please stop fighting! Don't break up because of that new girl. Do you not love us anymore, Daddy? Will you leave us for her?" I completely forgot she was standing there. Sierra ran with tears in her eyes right to her father. He picked her up and hugged her close. "Shhhh. It's ok, princess. Nobody is going anywhere, and no one is being replaced. Mommy and Daddy were just having a discussion. I just want us all to get along, which includes my new daughter." "Do you love her more than me now?" "No, princess. I love you both equally. The same as I love your brother. Nothing will change that. You believe me, right?" Sierra nodded her head and rested it against his shoulder. He rubbed her back, turning to me. "We'll finish this later." If I wasn't pissed before, I'm f*****g heated now. Not only are we arguing over that retched dark thing, she has my daughter thinking she'll be replaced. I will not stand for this, now or ever. I have to do something. Where the f**k is Ava when you need her?
