Not the wicked witch?!

You've got to be kidding me. Me... and her... sisters??? At this point, I know God has it out for me. "Is she joking right now? Please tell me she is?" I whispered to both Kyle and Brody, hoping one or both would tell me otherwise. "Sadly, no. She's not joking." Kyle was the first to speak. "I'm sorry, little one." Brody says to me. I stare at the girl, and she smiles back at me. "Not so brave now, are you. All can be forgiven if you apologize." "What?" "You heard me. Get on your knees and say you're sorry." I immediately laughed. This girl was definitely crazy. She looked upset by my lack of fear and began screaming again. "What's so funny!!" "Obviously, you. You had to be joking if you thought I'd do that. And please, you're hurting everyone's ears with all that yelling. Ain't everyone here a wolf? That means you don't have to yell." She and everyone else was taken aback. I'm a very nice person, but I draw the line at disrespect, regardless of who it comes from. My mom didn't play it, and neither do I. I went back to eating the rest of my breakfast or what I could finish. Her scent was making me ill anyway, so I was done. I tapped Kyle. "I'm done. You can have the rest." He noticed I didn't eat much of it and frowned. "Come on, now. I know you can put more of this away than that. It's ok. You can eat. Just ignore everyone." He squeezed my cheek softly, and it made me smile. I nodded. "Alright, but only a little more. Then the rest is yours." "Aye, Aye, captain." He saluted me and sounded so serious. I laughed and went back to eating. I just noticed the little girl was still standing there. "You can take a seat if you like. Standing there isn't gonna move me." She folded her arms and pouted while glaring at me. "Who are you anyway, and why are you at my mommy and daddy's table. We don't let strangers or people who's not family sit here." She started drawing a crowd, and more people were staring. I shrugged. "Suite yourself." I wasn't gonna explain who I was to her. She'll learn in her own time. That's when a clicking noise was heard, and I damn near jumped out of my seat when a scent hit my nose. It was repulsive. I pushed my chair back and made a gagging sound. Kyle and Brody were by my side holding me. "What the hell was that?" "Are you alright?" Kyle and Brody asked one after another. I held my nose and balled my face up. "Do yall not smell that?" I was so confused as to why no one else was responding to this awful smell besides me. Don't they all have an amazing sense of smell? "Smell what?" I stared at Kyle confused, and he and Brody looked at me just as confused. I ignored my thoughts and began breathing. I felt better anyway. Strong scents like that hit me hard and quickly, but my body can adjust to the smell. It smelt like burnt flesh, but it smelled as if someone doused lavender on top to mask the stench. "I'm ok, guys. I guess something bothered my nose for a second. It was an awful smell that came as suddenly as it went." They nodded but was still confused. They were gonna help me take my seat but was stopped. "What are you two doing?" Kyle and Brody both stood to their full height to acknowledge the lady that stood before us. My eyes widened when I realized that the stench I smelled seconds ago was coming from her. She looked to be an older version of the little girl standing next to her. Lord, please don't tell me that's her mother. Not the wicked witch??? I gagged to myself and looked away from them. No wonder the daughter stinks. She gets it from her mom. "We were told to escort her to this table, Luna." She frowned. "By whom?" "The Alpha." Brody answered, his voice deep but sounding clipped. Why was he annoyed by her? From how I'm thinking about it, she would be classified as his queen of sorts, right? She scoffed at his response. "This..." She pointed at me lazily and lingered with her stare. "She doesn't have to sit here. She can sit at a table close by. Besides, that... hair of hers is a real eye sore." My eyes popped. I've never even spoken to the woman yet, and she's already rude to me for no reason. "This is the annoying girl I was telling you about. Tell this low ranking she wolf that she has to move." The little girl ran up to her mom and held on to her tightly as if she were afraid. The woman glared at me. "That's no she wolf. That's a human." I heard murmuring and gasps all around me. Well... the cats outta the bag now. All eyes were on me, but instead of feeling nervous by it, it was pissing me off. I squared my shoulders and looked directly at the woman. She frowned at my arrogance. "For an adult, you're rather ignorant and rude." Her eyes widened at my remark. You could hear a pin drop in the room. "It's clear as day that she's your daughter, which means you should know exactly who I am. That also means you should know I'm also half wolf. I just so happened to not have a wolf." Everyone continued to whisper and gossip around us. I continued. "That would conclude to me that my father already told you who I am. And that tells me, you're just being rude and ignorant because you want to be, not because you have to be. My mom would never speak to a child the way you had just now. No wonder your daughter doesn't have any manners." Silence. No one dared to breathe or move a muscle. The woman's face was contorted in anger, and her eyes flashed from its blue eyes to a dusty yellow. "How dare you speak to the Luna that way?" "I don't care who you are. I give what I get, and if you aren't respectful, don't expect it in return. You're basically a queen to your people. You should want to be respectful to them and know you'll be respected in return." Her mouth dropped, and so did everyone else. I stood up to leave because I've already had enough of her already. As soon as I stood up to go, in came my father, his beta, gamma, and some other guy. Then, following them, I see four young boys behind them. He looked directly at me and smiled. I forced a small one out. He noticed immediately and frowned. That's when a shrill voice sounded out. The woman basically ran to my dad, wrapping her arms around him, kissing him. I made a face at the interaction. My dad took notice and tried to keep it to a minimum for my sake. "Honey, I've tried explaining to... her that she has to be respectful and courteous to the Luna of the pack. I know she probably doesn't like me since I'm not her mother. And she hasn't been taught our ways, but she has to adjust. Right, dear?" It was my turn to be slack jaw because she just totally flipped the whole story around. I go to speak, and she again intervenes. "Also, tell her not to be so mean spirited towards our baby girl. You know she means no harm." I wanted to say something, but another shrill voice beats me to it. "Yea, daddy. She was so mean to me for no reason at all." She hugged our dad's leg and stared, smiling at me. My dad is stunned by the bumrush of words, and he and I just stare at each other. He raised his brow at me in question. I crossed my arms over my chest. "Do you not have anything to say?" My dad asked me gently, which was nice. He didn't seem to be taking a side. "Oh. I'm sorry. I was just waiting for the show to be over because they were real dramatic. I mean, Oscar worthy." My dad's eyes went wide. "So here's what actually happened. The little girl came out of nowhere, being rude to me, yelling at me. I ignored her and told her to talk quietly. Then she told me the big, bad Alpha was gonna get me. I'm assuming she doesn't know that her daddy is my daddy yet. Oops... she does now." I looked at her, and her face shifted from a smirk to surprised. She looked up at her dad. "What? This is her?" She pointed at me, glaring. I smiled and waved. "Yeps, I'm your older sister. Nice to meet ya." I said sarcastically. My eyes returned back to the lady. "With her, she thought being rude to a child was ok. I simply told her that to get respect, you need to give it. I know for a fact that she knows who I am, but she pretended not." The whole room was quiet. My dad had a surprise look on his face, and so did the men around him. The woman glared at me. "See! She's rude. My name is Luna Lisa. Learn how to use it." I snorted. "Oh? I thought we were saying ' her' and she'? Seeing as though when speaking to me and about me, you couldn't even say my name. I thought it was ok. Well, Luna Lisa, if you can't say my name when speaking on me, don't say anything to me at all. My mother would never allow anyone to talk to me like that. I don't care who you are, I won't let you speak to me that way, either. By the way, the name is Kwenali, but please, call me Kwen."
