Vivian's POV: The next time I heard Ethan's name, I was having dinner with a business partner. Grace Miller, my assistant, handed me her phone. A local news report filled the screen. "Young Business Owner Killed in Drunk-Driving Crash" The man in the photograph was Ethan. According to the report, he had been heavily intoxicated. A pregnancy report and a breakup letter addressed to Chloe were found in the car. I later learned that the night before the crash, he had drafted an apology message to me. He wrote and deleted it dozens of times but never found the courage to send it. Distracted behind the wheel, he failed to notice a red light. My fingers tightened briefly around my wineglass, but I said nothing. Dinner continued as planned. My expression didn't change, and no one notice
