Hearing that did make me feel a lot better. Maybe too better, cause I could feel my cheeks heat up. I hope he doesn't see it. "Come on munchies, stop blushing and eat" he teases as he stands up to help me with what Phibs brought earlier. "Retard" I say taking the slice of pizza he was handing to me. "You're hurting my feelings," he says holding his chest like a little boy trying to be dramatic. "The one you don't have?" I say with a mouthful. For a moment, he paused and he continued. I saw it pop and clear. Maybe I shouldn't have said that. But I played along and moved away from this part of the conversion. One week with Enzo, it shouldn't be bad, I was looking forward to it. Too eager for time to move fast so I'll see what other days have installed for me but then again, time should move slowly, so I'll enjoy the moments before my death. Either way, I wasn't in hell and that felt great. “What about work?” I ask realizing for him to be here with me, he’d be skipping work. “Oh, I have that sorted out. They’ll be no problem at all. Don’t worry” he says casually while we eat his pizza with the remote in his hand. “Thank you, for everything,” I say looking at him. Thank you didn’t cut it, but right now; this was the only thing my grateful self could give. “You’re welcome Olivia,” he said glancing at me. I didn’t like it when I was called that. But I liked what he said, it made me smile.
