Chapter Sixty-Seven: Impulses
PRESENT, 2020 (Modern City of Kyoto) It was not easy to act as if nothing had ever really changed. It was not very far from reality, but both Kyouhei Kurosaki and Yuko Amazawa felt that there was something that had shifted between them. Something unspeakable but certainly felt. The drive back to the hotel did not take that very long. Yuko decided that they will be spending the night at Kyoto first before they would eventually return back to Tokyo first thing in the morning after. They went back to being silent as soon as they entered their hotel room. Yuko Amazawa chose to settle herself in the living room, while Kurosaki had walked straight into the bedroom, and decided to get more sleep.
