I sat in the living room patiently waiting for my mom to finish getting ready in her room. Wait a minute, did I just say patiently? Of course not, I was anxiously waiting for her. I was practically tapping my foot in anticipation.
The previous night, I received a text from the Beta, asking me to come check the space he had found for my bakery. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the message, just in the space of a week after I told him my decision to own a bakery shop, he had already found a spot for me.
Glancing at the time on the phone, I realized that it was just a few minutes past 2 pm and the Beta had asked to be there by 3 pm. I could have gone alone but I decided my mom should come with me, I wanted her to share in this joyous moment with me.
