Selena POV
As I swung open the door to the main entrance and stepped into the living room, my eyes widened in excitement.
My guess was right, there I saw my mom and Jojo engrossed in conversation. I was so happy to see her again after a long time.
The room fell silent as they both paused their conversation and turned their heads towards me. Their faces instantly lit up with radiant smiles. I couldn't contain my excitement any longer.
"Jojo!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with elation. I rushed forward, closing the distance between us, and enveloped her in a tight embrace. It felt warm and familiar just like my mom's.
"Oh Selena, dear", she whispered, her hand gently caressing my back. Her touch carried a sense of comfort and love.
