CHAPTER THREE: SAME KIND

I took their bodies to my own warehouse where I could chop their skins, pile them and ice them and still get to eat them the next day it was easier. I was living with another set of people I had another mum and sister now I hoped they will last too. I got home and had a good night sleep. The next morning, mum saying it's time for breakfast, yeah I do eat normal food too I had to blend in and it wasn't so bad I take my sister to school living a normal life as of 22 again. I finished college for like the 300 time. So when I dropped off Katie I decided to hunt again but this time animals so i went into the woods to look for one and that's when I met him. Standing there looking all mystified I saw him non- stop devouring a human I was surprised but a little bit happy because I finally after all this years found someone who was like me. I didn't get to stay to say hi, I left and waited for him at a Corner he didn't notice I was there I guess he was so busy having his food he didn't care to look around, I followed him, I guess I wanted to be so sure of what he is first before I meet him so I kept on following him till I lost him feeling the heavy air that went through me I knew someone was at my back I guess he found out someone was following him so I turned and he said why are you following me; compelling me then I told him that won't work on me he just stared at me sniffing me, then I said..

Hi, Im Nathaniel and you are? not saying anything i just had to show him what i am so I showed him my eyes, he said wow your eyes are red so nice to meet another one again, Im Charles by the way.

Nathaniel: Hi Charles, what do you mean meet another one again are their more of us?

Charles: Not really just one her name is Anya. We met a long time ago.wow it's really nice to meet another one but your eyes are red.

Nathaniel: What colour are yours?

Charles: How about I show you.

Nathaniel: Green huh, is Anya like that too?

Charles: Yeah, same with my parents too. We have a lot to talk about why don't we go get some drinks.

Nathaniel: sure.

So we went over to a bar.

Charles: How old are you?

Nathaniel: (Smiling) I lost count when I was 56 and that was about three thousand years.

Charles: Nice. Your older than I am, Im 2678 years old I kept count.

Talking to the bartender, I will have some bourbon please!

Charles: Tequila for me.

Nathaniel: I have a lot of questions to ask i don't even know where to start.

Charles: How about I just tell you. My parents were like us.

Nathaniel: were?

Charles: yeah. At that time we didn't know we could control humans make them do anything we ask them to and we hunt humans alot then humans finding out how alot of them gets missing they decided to find the root of it but they couldn't they see dead bodies sometimes and they think it's an animal doing it until I lost control one day and fed on a human while people where watching when I realized what I did I ran home telling my parents what I did and how we should get out of here before they found us, but I was too late they were already there screaming and calling us names they entered our home and took me out binding me to chains I couldn't fight that many people off I was just 12 then my parents fought them off and released me and told me to Run and never look back, so as I was running I looked back as they where fighting off the humans I saw lots of blood they knew they couldn't kill that much people even if they wanted too, they caught them and chained them and brought them to a place where they would be hanged. So when I ran away i disguised myself to know if I could free them but I couldn't I just stood in the crowd seeing how they hanged them up but still breathing they decided to burn them knowing nothing was happening they tried everything possible till they decided to put them in a box to lock them up, they arrange some people that will go the mountains so far from home and bury them there I couldn't go to see where they buried them or even if they buried them at all. i spent years looking for them and when I realized I could compile people years had gone by and all the people involved with my parents where dead I asked around, looked every day until I gave up search, I hated the humans for what they did but I guess I couldn't blame them but I still don't care so that's why I fed on them more often, I figured out everything on my own until I met Anya, I met her in a cell, they caught her and was still figuring out what they will do to her so I set her free and helped her, taught her a lot it was not easy for the both of us but we survived I think she is currently sipping some wine in another country I will let her know I found another.

Nathaniel: wow that was quiet a story

Charles: so what about you?

Nathaniel: I told him everything about my past too and how I got to figure out things I could do..Do you know how we existed or how we could die?

Charles: I don't really know anything my parents didn't get to tell me stuffs about it.

Nathaniel: why didn't your parents and you tried to get younger before they caught you I guess they won't have noticed.

Charles: Get younger what do u mean?

Nathaniel: You didn't know we can get younger to any age we want?

Charles: whoa! Really, I didn't know about that. Come on let's get out of here so I can try that.

We got out going to a lonely place.

Charles: so what do I get to do?

Nathaniel: just think of any age you would like, even a baby too

Charles: okay...it's not working am trying everything I can.

Nathaniel: really it's not that hard

Charles: Why don't you show me.

Then I showed him getting younger to a 5 year old kid he was amazed trying everything he could to do it but he couldn't .Then he remembered something

Charles: I remember my mom telling my dad things she could do my dad couldn't my dad was not fast but my mom was but my dad tried for a long time but still couldn't then he said maybe thats how it is, not all things we are suppose to have in common. I guess this is not meant for me and Anya can't do that too. so what else can u do?

Nathaniel: Not so sure yet, but am very fast and very quiet too I can also compel, Im strong and I have a cute face too (smiling).

Charles: funny..how fast are you? can we give it a try, you and me together.

Nathaniel: Sure.

So we ran together and I was pretty much faster than him

Charles: cool! I think your more advanced than I am

Nathaniel: So what did you do all this years, like for fun?

Charles: just eat people a lot I guess have nothing else to do. What about you?

Nathaniel: Have done a lot of things actually have gone to school a lot of times, I just get younger and let people foster me or adopt me I try not to get to attached so either they end up dead by me or they die from old age or I decide to leave them. I couldn't stay alone so I just be with family.

Charles: so your with family now?

Nathaniel: Yeah my mom and sister lived with them for 22years now since a baby.

Charles: How do you feed then?

Nathaniel: I just wait for them to fall asleep or I just fall asleep myself so they won't bother me .Im not so good with human flesh if I get a taste of it, it consumes me that I need more and needing more requires a lot of killing and I didn't want the town to notice so I just feed on animal flesh instead.

Charles: sick, haven't really done that.

Nathaniel: so you mean all this time you survive on human skin?

Charles: yeah I do.

Nathaniel: am sure you have lost count on the people you have killed.

Charles: Yeah pretty much. Don’t tell me you select your victims

Nathaniel: yes i do, can't really go round killing everyone can I?

Charles: so what do you do for fun?

Nathaniel: just hang around with my sister or I Rob a bank.

Charles: Whoa! Don't tell me your the mysterious robber?

Nathaniel: ohh you have heard of me?

Charles: who hasn't? the mysterious robber never found but walks away with lots of money.why do you do that anyway when you can get anything you want by asking.

Nathaniel: I just do it for fun, what a thousand years could do to you.

Charles: why don't you show me.

Nathaniel: well I guess I could, have been planning on doing one soon,today couldn't hurt.

Charles: yes, that's what am talking about.

So I took him to a bank called safe bank.

Nathaniel: so let's leave everything to me I just need you to go inside there and just pretend your a customer.

Charles: okay then.

Charles entered the bank and I ran home to get changed ( wear a costume).I had a g*n too so everything was in other. Getting to the bank as I entered, I had to disable every security system there by shooting at it and telling everyone to get on their knees and the security guard to drop their weapon and they shouldn't test me so they did. i could see Charles so I went on ahead to the workers asking to put all the money in the bag as they were doing so, a security guard stood up with his g*n and shot at me, seeing as the bullet touched me and landed on the floor without being hurt I said ouch that really hurt and why every time someone had to play hero, I then shot at one of his leg as a punishment for what he did. Then I told them they should hurry up with the money and when they were done I took the bag and left saying Next time suckers. Getting out of the bank I heard an incoming siren the cops coming so I just fled to a roof top, yeah going to a roof I had to fast climb knowing how fast I was I just climb the walls more of walk on them when I got there I kept the money and my costume there, getting younger, I had to because who will ever suspect a child so I got younger to a 9 year old boy and ran back down, the cops where there questioning everyone then I was with the people taking pictures and videos of what was happening then I saw Charles and waved at him he knew it was me. When he came closer he just laughed so hard and told me how doped it was and how I do it.

Nathaniel: Thanks to Power of getting younger.

Charles: which I could do that. Anya would Tripp for this, I called her while I was inside she said she is close by so she is taking a bus to meet us she said she can't wait to meet you.

Nathaniel: Nice.

Charles: How about you take me to where you leave so I would know and maybe have some food and introduce me.

Nathaniel: [Thinking] surprised by that but what could go wrong.
