Phuwin adjusted his tie, exhaling softly as he stepped into the grand ballroom of the Pipattranon estate. Tonight was supposed to be a simple business gathering—an event where families of high status exchanged pleasantries, discussed investments, and flaunted their wealth. But as he scanned the room, he immediately sensed something was wrong. His parents had been acting strange all day, whispering behind closed doors, watching him like hawks. And now, as he entered, all eyes turned to him. "Phuwin, darling, come here," his mother called, her smile too forced to be genuine. His entire life, he had fought to be independent, to escape the suffocating expectations placed on him as an Omega. And now, they wanted to sell him off like some business asset? Pond took another step closer, his voice low but firm. "You can resist all you want, Phuwin, but in the end, you will be mine." Phuwin met his gaze, fire burning in his chest. "We’ll see about that." But as he stormed out of the ballroom, he couldn’t shake the sinking feeling in his stomach—because something told him that Pond always got what he wanted. And this time, what he wanted was him. --- To be continued...
