I woke up and saw that Alistair was not around. I got up and went to the windows and removed the curtains. The bright light made me smile. It was a new day and I have never been happier to live it.
I searched for him and called him once to see if he was there. He didn’t reply and I thought maybe he had some work.
I went to the bathroom and got fresh. I smiled looking at the mirror. I was looking brighter. Maybe I have been better these days.
At least it made one point clear: I didn’t make a mistake by running away. It was the right choice.
