Ara inhaled the air in Virgo Island. Was it fresh? No. It had sulfur content. And it was hot.

Ara obeyed automatically. Emyr zipped through the swirling clouds. She closed her eyes because they turned out to be sulfuric smoke belched by several volcanoes. Her nose and throat got irritated. Coughing a little, she breathed through her wet clothes.
A few moments later, a swill of lava overflowed from the small cave followed by a billowing reddish smoke that wafted upwards. It got illumination from the smoldering rocks and mud.
"That was close!" Ara shouted hoarsely.
