While I was helping a girl in Mr. Alton’s class, who was obviously into me, Mr. Alton called me over.
“I have two things to say to you Nate.” He started. “One, if a student is attracted to you, do not lead them on.”
I laughed. “I’m not!” I said. “I was just helping…”
He chuckled. “Second, do you mind taking this down to the office?” He handed me a big stack of papers.
I smiled. “Not at all.” I said as I turned to the door and walked out.
When I arrived at the office, I handed the secretary the stack of papers and she smiled at me. “Here to pick up Mr. Alton’s visitor?” She asked.
“Visitor?” I turned my head and saw Nikita sitting in the waiting area, looking at me. My heart jumped. I then looked back at the secretary. “Yeah.” I said. “Thanks for reminding me…”
She laughed at that.
