In theory, Amelia’s plan wasn’t too complicated. She and another person would enter the house through the servants’ entrance and head straight for the basement. No one in the Marlon pack would pay attention to two servants entering the service area of a wealthy house; the pack's residents rarely looked twice at the servants unless they wanted to complain about a job they considered poorly done. The biggest risk Amelia faced was being recognized by the staff themselves, after all, the passage to the isolated room was in her parents' basement, a house where she had lived her whole life. Maybe that’s why she felt it would be so easy to get in and out—she knew the house well enough for that. Unfortunately, she couldn’t share that detail with Daniel to help convince him to accept her plan.
