Augusto said he had tried everything to keep Amelia at the bakery. He had put her to wrap the bread, but she was slow and kept tangling the plastic wrap when she tried to cut it. Then Augusto moved her to the register. At first, she did well, since she liked numbers, and organizing the register and charging customers was something she did skillfully. However, things went wrong when customers wanted to use the store's credit line because Amelia didn't know them and took too long to find the right names in the store's records, especially when most of the pack's shapeshifters used nicknames different from their registered names
