Andrea’s POV Was keeping this girl with me a bad idea? Even though she is unconscious she looks so cute and peaceful. I think it would be better if we stayed in one of my warehouses and left in the morning. I laid her on the bed and sat beside her, touching her face gently. She looked so pretty that I couldn’t resist caressing her. I can't let her go back to that club again; I’ll have to keep a close watch on her. How can someone be so mischievous yet so beautiful? She was starting to wake up, and I quickly moved to the sofa beside the bed. "Where am I?” was the first thing she asked, and for a moment I wished she would go back to being unconscious. Instead of thanking me for saving her, she started nagging: - Why did you save me? - How did you save me? "Shut up," I ordered, tired of her questions. "We are leaving right now" I told her. Why did I have to shout? The ride home was silent but peaceful. I stole glances at her whenever I could. When we arrived, Elena was waiting in the dining room. As soon as she saw her, she hugged her and started asking questions about where she had been. I immediately declared "Irina you will no longer be going to the club. From today you must stay in the room beside mine." Her face lit up and I smiled looking away. ~~~ Irina’s POV I regained consciousness and the first face I saw was Andrea’s. “Where am I?" I asked. He looked at me, expecting something else. Why did you save me? How did you save me? "Shut up” he snapped sounding annoyed. He is also so annoying,he could at least tell me what happened. "We’re leaving right now" he said. I followed without uttering a word. I was so happy to see Elena but as soon as she saw me she started asking unnecessary questions. "Irina you will no longer be going to the club and from today you will stay in the room beside mine" Andrea announced. For the first time he smiled at me and I felt so happy I wanted to kiss him. Elena took me to the staff quarters to get my things. Once inside she bombarded me with questions. "Can I breathe?” I asked. "I should be asking you questions.how did Andrea find me?” I said. "Well... he’s the head of the Italian Mafia so he’s got lots of connections" Elena replied. "Mafia" I echoed in shock. So I’d been living with the head of the Mafia, the don all this time without knowing. That day Elena and I became close friends. She shared everything she knew about Andrea and how she started working for him. Her mother worked for him, then became ill. Elena had to work for him to pay the bills even though Andrea pays her four times her salary. From what she told me he seemed like a kind man but he plays the tough guy because he’s the head of the Italian Mafia. That night Andrea came into my room. I thought he wanted to ask how I was doing but he said something completely different. His words were: “I’m going to a ball tomorrow evening and you will be my date." "And what if I say no?" I asked annoyed. "I didn't ask" he said with a smirk. I wanted to smile but I held back. I lay on my bed fantasizing about what would happen when he left my room. ~~~ Andrea’s POV I called the manager of one of my malls, asking for the ten best outfits we have. I went to the mall and picked out the most beautiful clothes. I hoped going to the ball would distract Irina from the whole k********g ordeal. I returned home confidently knowing the dress was stunning. I laid it on her bed while she was talking to Elena. All I could think about was how she would look in it. What if she doesn't like it? "No she will" I told myself, trying to stay calm. It was almost time for the event. I got dressed feeling nervous. Why was I nervous about going out with someone I didn't love? Finally, she appeared and she looked like an angel. As expected she was stunning—perfect dress, makeup and jewelry. I watched her until she reached the living room. She was walking strangely; I had chosen low heels so what was the problem? Maybe she was still adjusting. I reassured myself. Just looking at her made me hard. I wondered how I’d react if I saw her bare skin—surely I’d go crazy. As she approached I felt my face smile involuntarily. I didn't want to but my body betrayed me. "Did an angel fall from heaven?” Leonardo said, approaching her. "You don't look so bad today" he added with a smirk. "Oh really, Mr. Scoundrel" Irina said smiling. I felt irritated—were they flirting in front of me? I thought to myself. She had a nickname for him and I didn’t like that. Before Leonardo could say anything else I stepped closer pulled him aside and warned “Shut your mouth before I blow your f**king balls off." He smiled and said, "Relax tiger."
