Chapter Four

1232 Words
Hank He was stunned. Like a butt on the head. And not a single sound thought in this very head. Everything blew out. Either by the draft that he arranged, airing in the rooms, or by Jill's quiet sighs. The sharp, fresh taste of grapefruit on her hair, spreading in the air from the warmth of their skin, intoxicated him worse than rum, in which Hank was looking for oblivion. Like some f*****g pirate from a children's adventure book, f**k! And those soft strands on his cheeks, on his eyelids, are tightening with a light haze, cutting off the world around him! There's nothing left! He even forgot about his f*****g leg for a while, and he's already adjusted to the pain... Grab her whole palm by the back of her head, pull her over and kiss her greedily, biting her lower lip, what an excitingly plump one! Yes, only these wary shadows in the eyes, full of hidden pain, were not allowed. They held him like iron shackles, hammering nails into Hank's soul. His fault... "Thanks for power bank..." blurted out the first thing that came to an empty head. Just to distract myself and not succumb to this wild desire to crush her under me, spread her on the floor and kiss her to such an extent that she forgot... To give him a chance. But do any of them need it? Honestly? "I know. I remember how important it is for you to have a safety net." he cleared his throat so as not to hiss in a voice hoarse from the wild need for this woman. Jill seemed even more confused. She frowned a little, as if she couldn't catch what he was talking about. There was a slight crease of this loss between his eyebrows, which made the hope immediately flare up in his crippled head that their meeting was not a passing event for her, which did not let go, as well as it held him... Another thing is that if Hank mentions this, another question will arise: why then did he do this in the past? For what did you exchange the huge and priceless thing that they had? I've been thinking about it a lot. And there were even answers. Only they didn't bathe anything. They just testified to his stupidity. "Ah... yeah... It's not scary. I have it loaded. And there is "charging" in the car. How's your leg?" she twisted her nose, as if waving away his gratitude. "It's fine. Released." No, he didn't bury his face in her neck. Of course not. It was just that he tried to get up from the floor, and Jill, too kind, as always, bent down to help him... But, f**k! How he was covered! Like a dose of drugs, probably after a long break. I inhaled it into myself, like drug addicts inhale powder! Her gentle warmth burned his skin, his whole face burned! The body instantly went on fire! And all common sense, reasonable arguments, all guilt and conscience – into the furnace of this heat! He did not understand how and when he slid his lips over the girl's flaming cheek. When he did grab her hair on the back of her head with a crippled palm. He pressed, covered his neck with his fingers, absorbing the furiously beating pulse with scars, pressed it to his face... "Jill!" he exhaled, pressing his open lips to his cheekbone. God is my witness! He was very excited again. Next to her, his body didn't care about such "little things" as pain and a complete mess with the company. The groin throbbed, and the fly painfully pressed on the p***s, in which all the blood from the man's body seemed to have gathered. How not cracked, f**k?! She froze, clearly feeling everything that bubbled up in him, feeling this greedy touch of lips, which can no longer be attributed to chance. He had known and understood her thoughts so well before. Now... a mystery. I was wary, I felt it... Scared? Disgusted? The same fire engulfed? Or will he send it now with a foul (and rightly so, by the way!), crashing from a roundabout? Well, you never know, a lot could have changed in these six months. Jill could, for example, go to self-defense courses... That would be just like her. "Hank, let go." instead of all that, Jilllian said quietly. It was she who ordered him, even though he felt by the feverish beating of her pulse under his fingers that she did not remain indifferent. Yes, and the blush that spread over her cheeks gave away. However, Jill was perfectly able to control herself. And now... Damn! Where does she get the strength to hold on like this?! He would not mind borrowing a little from her, so that only at this moment he would not collapse like a pathetic rag at her feet, begging for forgiveness in tears and snot... Yes, only she had already lent him, not even lent him, but had given all of herself and her heart, that now he had no right to ask her for anything. "I have to go, Hank." saving him from a monstrous failure of all self-respect and pride, the blonde cleared her throat, as if unintentionally, showing that she was hooked specifically. It's like a balm for his soul, to be honest. And from somewhere I took the strength to unclench my hands, loosen my fingers. "Yes, of course. Sorry..." He pulled back a little, meeting her eyes. And the echo of the last word hung between them, as if reflected in the echoing emptiness of his apartment, which had once been home for both of them. He didn't ask for forgiveness then. And she didn't demand it. From the look in Jill's eyes, he saw that she had thought about it too. "See you tomorrow." she turned away. She straightened up, leaving him on the floor alone. "Tomorrow at nine, in the office. We should all think carefully about how to persuade the management of Alliance Bank not to break the contract and keep it all... in the circle of "family", so to speak." Jill walked to the door, picking up her bag on the way. She clicked the lock, still opening the door. She always switched to a working tone and had left wing problems when she was nervous and couldn't cope with the situation. He remembered that, too. But now I think that all this bullshit that Douglas has arranged gives him the lion's share of time to be around Jill... And, while not fully understanding what he felt inside of this realization, he nodded. "Yes. I will." I promised her in the back, bracing my hands against the wall to get up. "Good. Then... Until tomorrow?" I repeated it again. A strained look over his shoulder, looking at him doubtfully. Deserved it? Maybe. I showed her somehow that I could let her down. Yes... "I'll see you tomorrow, Jill." he nodded, feeling an incomprehensible convulsive spasm of some kind of greedy protest inside his chest. I didn't want to let her go now, remembering again what a thrill it is when this woman is around! Even with all the reservations. Hands cramped themselves, clenched into fists. But he didn't even flinch when the door clicked shut behind her.
