I couldn’t stop thinking about Elle. The whole thing didn’t make sense—the way she suddenly decided to back off from getting revenge on Josh. I knew Elle well enough to know she wasn’t someone who ran from a fight, especially when it was this personal. Josh had hurt her, had made her feel unsafe, and she was ready to make him pay. But now, just like that, she wanted to walk away? It didn’t add up.
