June's POV JJ was being surprisingly nice. Perhaps because he felt sorry for me, which normally I would hate, but I liked this side of him. He was smiling, being flirty, and putting on a show for everyone around us for my benefit. The smile he held every time he looked at me was easing the ache that Nash had left in my chest. It still hurt to think about, but only because I thought Nash was a close friend.
