Two hours later I’m fidgeting in the backseat of the car Cole got for me, wondering where the driver’s taking me. He’s only said one word to me so far—a simple ‘Jacqueline’? to confirm my identity. I take deep breaths, trying to stay calm. My phone pings with a text from Dante. *You’ve got this, sweetheart.* I smile, feeling my courage rising. Dante’s right, I’ve got this.
