Chapter 76 I also bought fancy shoes and slippers for her. After I came back from the boutique,I went to the school and registered her. The school was so big and had a spacious compound with a large football pitch. One of my friends were teaching there and she was the one who accompanied me to the headmaster’s office. The headmaster was very kind and good to converse with–He wasn’t acerbic. He gave me full assurance that the teachers will take care of my child properly…. I left the school smirking confidently because I had achieved my aim. “My child must be educated” I said in my mind. Getting to the house,I saw Ben sitting at the long sofa. I was caught unawares “Honey,why are you at home by this time? What happened?” I queried. “I came to take the documents I forgot” he replied.
