When I finish talking to the beta and come out of the cell, Lucinda decides to finally remind me that we’re not living in the last century and that she’s married to someone who could end all our problems in a second.
Lucinda talks to her husband for a little bit to explain what we need from him, then rolls her eyes and hands me the phone.
"Are you stupid, Daniel? Why didn't you tell me before that Clara had her phone with her?" he demands as soon as I have the cell phone on my ear.
"Because I have a lot on my mind." I excuse myself, earning an annoyed huff from him and then I remain silent for a couple of seconds while Robbie does his thing. This fills me with new hope.
