Book: Crowned by Deception

798 Words
Blurb: Luna Asyl was born from tragedy and shaped by lies. Haunted by her past and desperate for love, she clung to the promise of a prince who would accept her darkness—only to place her faith in a rogue Alpha with a silver tongue and a cruel heart. Her two closest friends warned her, disapproved of the Alpha’s reckless ways, but stood beside her all the same. Still, Asyl wore masks—one of sorrow, one of charm—and spun those masks into a deceptive friendship with a lonely, naïve Omega. But when the Omega uncovered Asyl’s true nature, the bond shattered, leaving only regret and pain behind. After the rogue Alpha was imprisoned, he unleashed his network to protect Asyl and silence the Omega—permanently. Forced into hiding, the Omega fled, eventually finding safety in a strange new pack unlike any other: a rogue haven, wild and free. There, she stumbled upon both a lost friend and a long-lost love—someone she hadn’t seen in ten years. But peace is temporary, and the past never stays buried. As war brews between packs, secrets unravel. It becomes clear why the Omega turned her back on Asyl, and why that decision was the beginning of something far bigger than herself. Asyl, clinging to the power of her title, refuses to see her wrongs. Her pride festers, her hate multiplies—and in a moment meant for justice, her own children rise against her, ending her reign in blood. But the price of freedom is high.Because their fathers were rogue traffickers, Asyl’s children are marked as liabilities. One by one, they are hunted down, silenced by those with too much to lose. The rogue Alpha, driven by vengeance for his Luna’s death, faces a choice—destroy the Omega or take vengeance on those who murdered his children. In the end, vengeance consumes him, too.The Omega, scarred but strong, lives on.She finds peace not in isolation, but in love, rising as the mate to her new pack’s Beta. This time, she chooses herself. This time, she wins. Available to read in Inkitt under a tire. The book will be deleted here in Dreame ones the book is completed. The reason of being deleted? My editor emailed me this on January 21, 2026 to which lead me to eliminate any and all books including none exclusives from the Dreame app writing platform; Editor, Hi Meg, Hope this email finds you well. I have received your submission of the story Alpha Mate at the Gas Station. The storyline is interesting, which impressed me. And here is the offer: Under the non-exclusive program, we'd like to offer you a six( 6 )% royalty. There is a sample contract attached to this email. Please read it carefully and make sure you understand every clause of it. After you confirm it, we will prepare the official contract for you to sign. Hope to hear from you soon! My reply; Can I know why none exclusive? I thought this story met what’s hot on Dreame. I am now beginning to accept there is zero way to obtain exclusive even after asking you to help me in order to obtain an exclusive. Editor; Hi Meg, In addition to evaluating whether a book's content meets the criteria for an exclusive contract, our team also examines the data and income from the author's other signed books. If this book achieves great data and income in the future, we can change its contract type with you. If you find that our offer and non-exclusive contract do not meet your expectations and decide to decline signing a contract for this book with our platform, we will respect your decision. My last replies on the subject; I see, then there is zero way of changing the type, even after asking for your help on the subject. Then I agree on the type you first send me. Thank you. One thing I want to change in the contract since we can’t change the type, is to have it in 150,000 word count instead of 300,000 because I thought if it had a higher word count it could get me exclusive. Clearly I won’t be working in any other book in the platform in the nearby future as my data and income to the platform doesn’t show to meet the app’s requirements. I say this because I’m asking you to help me, and all I’m receiving is excuses to not change anything but promote more to meet the money the app wants. My health can’t take more push of work, and I won’t be killing myself to meet the expectations of an app. I’m deeply sorry for my readers, and hope to have your support in my other accounts from here on in. Thank you.
