The Hidden Island

The sun sets as the sun beams through the mist onto the African gravel. Day passes night starts dark creeps up and at night the moon is bigger than ever a super moon beginning with the moonlight lighting up the African landscape. Everything goes quite but then you hear the rattling of a motor vehicle moving on a gravel road. It's Chris and his team the team Expt Mary's mom was sent away to a safe place with one of her friends the rest are all in a 4x4 riding along the coastline lights off. All of a sudden Chris:" Heels stop and the vehicle stops this is where we need to be". Ben slammed the brakes the vehicle came to a full stop. Ben "But there is literally nothing ". As they climbed out of the vehicle a another car came racing down the same road that they were on from both sides and heading towards them they immediately knew what it meant. They are in big trouble.
Luckily Ben went off-road when they stopped it was dark and there were dunes they could hide behind from and they drove with no lights on the way there to make sure they were not visible. This means that they only patrolling the beach. They don't know Chris and his company is there they are only hoping they find something. But somehow they need to get into the ocean without getting seen they know that the beach is being patrolled. They do a leopard crawl Chris and Mary go first they get down on the ground flat on their bellies and they crawl but haveway to the ocean Mary gets stuck on a piece of rope. Snacked to her legs she has no choice but to turn around and s**t up. At that exact moment, someone with a flashlight spots her. A patrol car gets closer gunfire goes off and bullets start to fly theyhavebin made. Ducking and diving to avoid getting shot. One bullet hits Ben in his arm but luckily the bullet only grazes him. But he drops to the ground Mary is quick to react. She grabs her headband from her head and ties it very tightly to his arm. This stopped the bleeding for now. They make a run for the ocean between them and the boat, it's quite the swim. About a kilometer and Ben is not in the best shape to go for a swim luckily Chris was a lifeguard in college and could aid Ben. He knew that it would have to swim quite a distance so they got scuba gear a one-liter tank for its goggles and scuba fins they then reversed the car into the ocean and they jumped into the ocean and started swimming when the others got to the abandoned car Chris and his fellowship were long gone.
In the middle of the ocean, there is a boat all by itself. Allow a sudden bubbles come out of the water and Chris's head amirge from the ocean shortly after more bubbles appeared and the rest of the group appears they about 20 meters from the boat they swim to the boat and climb aboard Chris puts in the GPS accords and they venture into the ocean with out lights or making a lot of noise yousing there navigation skills at there best ability after a while he stopped the boat and cast the ancker this is the spot he ses. " but there is nothing we are in the middle of the ocean" Ben replied. "Yes we are on top of it the island is beneath us look there is no time to explain we need to get down there the others might be on our tail." Chris and Mary put on their scuba gear as quickly as aposoboland then they plummeted into the ocean. Ben stays behind as a lookout Once the two are in the ocean they swim toward the bottom of the ocean floor. The closer they gey the water gets more mercy. As they get closer towards the bottom they spot some sort of object. With their flashlight, it is the tip of something you would find on the top of a temple.
Getting closer swimming past the mercury water they can start to see more of the rowen but can't see the entrance of the tomb it is pitch only abil to see rhit in front off them black hardly any light. Their flashlights hardly make a dent in the darkness. To see in front of them they have to yous special glow-in-the-dark sticks to light up the entrance of the temple now that there is some light they enter the temple. The temple has a very long hallway and a room at the end of it. They swim all the way to the end where there is a big statue of a sun God that the native people worshiped or some sort of God at the center of the chamber. In the middle of the statue, there is a star-like hole Chris swims closer towards the statue and takes out an object from his bag which looks like a star or the sun. Made from pure gold it perfectly matches the slot in the statue. He puts it in the slot and it has a nob you can turn. He turns it anticlockwise like a key after a few turns the statue started to vibrate and it slid into the temple floor. As the whole ocean floor starts to shake like there's an earthquake for the surface Ben can see big huge bubbles appear he knows something big is about to go down so he starts the bout engine and gets clear of the bubbles back in the temple the water levels are dropping up to the point where the whole room is dry. The entire temple is rising from the ocean floor emerging to the surface there is a new Island. In the middle of nowhere, there is now a piece of land that should not exist. Back in the temple Chris and Mary take off their scuba gear and wetsuits. They look back at the back wall of the room chamber where there once where a statue there is now only a shelf with a box made from granite on it engraved with African shibls he opens the box and there it is the one thing that has hunted his family for decades right before him. The one thing everyone wants is the Idol at that ext time. Black armed boats are surrounding the island. As three planes fly over men with paratroopers jump from them and land in the Island forest. Ben is also surrounded by the black armed boats. All Ben can do is lift his hands and surrender. As the rest of the remaining boats rush onto the shore they set up camp they start scouting the area for Chris. Ben gets taken to shore held captive taken to one of the camp tents. The men who jumped from the plane are the closest to the temple but without a map, surrounded by forest they don't know where they are.
Chris takes out the Idol and he can't believe his eyes. Finally, after years and years of looking for service and heartache, he found it, it is in his hands. The gold reflects off the Idol onto his face. Mary "You have done it you finally done it after all those years you found it". Chris puts the Idol in his duffel bag. When he hears Ben's voice over a PA system. Then someone else takes over and they tell Chris to hand him self over. He needs to meet them at the north beach in two hours hand over the Idol or Ben will be killed.
