"Hannah are you okay?" Thomas asked frantically when he didn't hear a reply from inside the bathroom.
After a long wait, Thomas finally heard a reply from Hannah who was inside the bathroom, "Thomas, can you help to get me something?"
Hannah had to muster up the courage to reply to Thomas' words, even though she ran to the bathroom to escape from the man, now she had to ask him for help, Hannah felt very embarrassed at this time.
"What's that? Just tell me, and I'll help you." Thomas grew even more anxious when he heard Hannah say that quietly.
"Please get me a towel, I forgot to bring it," Hannah said shyly, her face now red as a tomato.
Thomas froze in place when he heard what Hannah said. Although confused, Thomas still moved to get Hannah a towel.
Thomas also knocked on the bathroom door first while speaking, "Here's your towel," Thomas said briefly.
Then there was the sound of the door opening, then Hannah's hand reached out to grab the towel Thomas had brought.
Thomas, who had another stupid idea, tried to tease Hannah again, "Do you want me to come insideme too?"
“Shut your mouth and quickly give me the towel!” Hannah hissed dangerously at Thomas.
Thomas also snorted softly when he heard Hannah's unfriendly reply, “Tch! Take it yourself there!” Annoyed, Thomas dropped the towel, leaving Hannah to pick it up herself.
Although annoyed, Hannah still took the towel and closed the bathroom door again, while Thomas chose to go downstairs.
. . .
While going downstairs for breakfast, Hannah heard a loud noise coming from the front of her house. He also turned to his parents who were at the dining table to ask about the commotion.
"What's ahead? Why is there so much noise?” Hannah said, frowning at the noise.
"I don't know, I think Thomas have an acquaintance," Emily answered, shaking her head not knowing what was happening in front of her.
When she heard that Thomas's acquaintance had arrived, Hannah became alert and rushed to check ahead. He was afraid that the ones who came to his house were the henchmen of the mafia Thomas.
However, when Hannah reached her front door, she was startled by the voice of an angry man. When Hannah peeked through the door, it was Thomas who was scolding someone.
Hannah could feel that she unconsciously backed away when she heard Thomas's deep voice scolding his men, for a second Hannah felt a sense of dread overtake her.
“If I hear about your incompetence again, believe me, I will not hesitate to kill you ...."
Although Thomas hissed softly at his men because Hannah was close enough, he could hear what the man was saying. “As expected of a mafia, that man's aura is terrifying!” Hannah thought, starting to break out in a cold sweat.
If Hannah faced the man on the field, it was certain that she would be hard-pressed against Thomas.
Actually, in London the existence of the mafia is quite covert, from what Hannah knows, the mafia clan led by Thomas works in the shadows. Meanwhile, Thomas covers his mafia guise with his family's big company.
Hannah did not know how dark the mafia clan led by Thomas was doing. What Hannah knows is that Thomas owns several big casinos in London.
And Hannah was sure that the man must be closely related to the Black Market and all the usual offenses committed by other mafia clans.
Hannah was startled when she heard a voice calling out to her from behind. When Hannah turned around, she found Thomas there, staring at him intently.
“What are you doing there?!” Thomas asked still with a sinister aura.
Hannah was frozen in place with wide eyes and she nervously answered Thomas's question, “Hmm, that's nothing … I just wanted to call you for having breakfast together. Are you still having your guests?" Hannah tried to dodge the fact that she was eavesdropping on Thomas' earlier conversation.
Thomas took a deep breath first to calm himself down, he didn't want to look scary in front of Hannah. After calming down, Thomas looked back at Hannah and led the girl to the table.
"He's gone, let's have breakfast." Thomas grabbed Hannah's shoulders and pushed her towards the dining table in the kitchen.
"Let me go!" Hannah shrugged her shoulders to release Thomas' grip. "You don't have to push me like that," Hannah said, grumbling incoherently at Thomas.
Thomas just chuckled softly and released his grip, then walked side by side with Hannah.
When they arrived at the dining table, Emily asked about what had happened in front of them, “Has your acquaintance left, Thomas? If you haven't, just invite us to have breakfast with us."
Thomas also smiled his sweet smile, "No need, he's gone," Thomas replied, waving his hand slowly.
“Who was it that visited you?" Now it was Charles' turn to ask Thomas, while spreading jam on his bread, the middle-aged man glanced briefly at Thomas who had just sat himself on the dining table chair.
"Stop it. Let him eat first, why keep asking like that," said Hannah cutting Thomas to answer questions from his parents.
Not intending to help Thomas, Hannah did that so her parents wouldn't know who Thomas was meeting, it would be better for them not to know what Thomas was doing behind the scenes.
Secretly, Emily and Charles looked at each other, they both then smiled strangely. It seemed that Hannah's parents had misunderstood a little about what the girl had done for Thomas.
"Then let's eat. Sorry for delaying you," Charles said, grinning, glancing back and forth at Hannah and Thomas.
Hannah, who saw her parents doing strange things, frowned in confusion. Already hungry, Hannah decided to push her thoughts away and focus on getting something to eat.
. . .
While Thomas was taking a shower upstairs, Hannah chatted with her parents about their leaving this afternoon to their own house that Thomas's parents had given them.
“Mom… Dad… Thomas and I will be leaving this afternoon to live in the house that Raymond's family gave to us,” Hannah said as she sat down next to her mother.
"What?! Why are you guys leaving so fast!” Emily immediately turned to Hannah in shock and disbelief. He was still not ready to let his son go.
