Possessiveness

Caroline closes her eyes shut and clenches her fists. She takes a deep breath. Looking up, she starts again, this time more with a stable mind. She checks the people on her right. The hallway leads to a door that opens to the back alley. It’s closed now. She rolls her shoulders and searches for a white shirt. A group of humans are chatting, they laugh out loud as Caroline walks past them. A group of girls in mini dresses giggle to her left. She walks slowly this time, searching. She comes to a halt when he spots the white shirt. The white shirt is frozen though. Not moving at all. Rigid in its place. Caroline stares at the white shirt, then at the strong legs. She snaps her eyes to a pair of gorgeous, stormy black ones. The stranger is trailing his eyes over Caroline intensely. The stranger stands there, unmoving. He's in a daze as well. The stranger’s chest rises and falls as if the man's going through unremarked emotions. He whispers something to himself in confusion. Recognition sprinkles in his eyes. His eyes dance over Caroline’s face. Caroline’s body. And then back at her face again. Then the stranger's eyes shine brightly, it's magical. It's the look of yearning. Caroline’s Omega preens at the look in the Alpha’s eyes. Caroline grins fully at the stranger. The stranger’s eyes flash red. The Alpha struts toward her, eyes going back to the normal shade of stormy black. He stops in front of her, a smile blooming on his face. They both smile at each other, and Caroline’s heart brims with love and affection for the Alpha. It's an unspoken pledge between them. They know they're mates. “I thought you left,” Caroline says. “I am glad I didn't,” the Alpha sings. “Carol.” She introduces herself. “Hey Ken!” They both turn to look at the Alpha's friend who’s walking over to them. “Hi Ken,” Caroline whispers playfully, and he rolls his eyes at her. She chuckles. Ken’s friend reaches them, and looks twice at Caroline. “Oh wow,” he mutters. The Alpha glares at his friend, then turns to her. “This is Mattel,” Ken says. “And this is Carol,” he finishes with a smile on his face. Caroline bows down and Mattel does the same. Ken’s eyes linger on Caroline for a second too long before he turns to his friend. “Plans have changed. You're leaving alone. I am going with her.” “You’re going with me?” She asks, cutely pointing towards himself. Ken smiles a bunny smile in adoration. “I thought we could spend some time together?” The Alpha stares at Caroline innocently. “Would you like to come have coffee with me?” He completely ignores his friend who now stands confused beside him. “But it's after midnight!” Mattel points out incredulously. “Why not!” Caroline says, eyes on her fated mate. “I mean we could go somewhere quiet or go to my house to talk. I would uh, I would like to get to know you better.” The Omega’s cheeks go red. She’s getting shy from the loving gaze in Ken’s eyes. Mattel’s eyes play ping pong between the two until they settle on the Alpha’s form and he leans to get a better look at his friend, who seems completely smitten with her. Mattel’s lips form an O, he snaps his gaze to Carol, finally realising the situation. A ghost of a smile reaches his mouth before he clears his throat. “I’ll tell Nathaniel to take care of Kenzie,” says Mattel. “She's going to ask about you now that you won't be going back to her.” A question arises on Carol’s face, and Ken shakes his head. “It’s my sister!” The Alpha explains. “Kenzie is my little sister. She's way younger than me. She's a decade younger than me. I was going back to my pack tonight.” Hope dawns on his face. “She is going to love you when you both meet.” He is excited. Caroline touches her heart. A picture of a mini Alpha playing with his even little sister pops in his mind and suddenly, she is emotional. They both must have been so adorable in the Alpha’s childhood. She nods and the Alpha takes his phone out. He types a text, fingers drilling over the screen, and lifts his eyes to Mattel. “It’s done. Nathaniel will be there for her.” Mattel nods at the Alpha and gives a cheeky grin to Carol. “See you soon, Head Omega!” Mattel teases her over the loud music in the club. Ken playfully shoves his friend to the side. A blush creeps up on Carol’s face. She bites her lip and stops herself from grinning. She’s just so happy. She was waiting for this day for years. She was waiting to meet her mate. Her Omega didn’t succumb to the scents of other Alphas ever, whenever an Alpha tried to get his way into Carol’s pants, her Omega just scrunched her nose in disgust. Mattel referred to her as the Head Omega. Which means that Carol’s mate is Head Alpha in their pack. In Carol’s mind, her Omega preens at the information, lifting her nose higher in the air. Carol nods politely at Mattel. Pride swells in Ken’s chest at seeing his graceful Omega. Mattel and Ken shove their fists together before he strides away. The doe-eyed Alpha comes closer to Caroline. The Omega sighs in relief. The Alpha’s fingers curl around her neck, his thumb grazing over her left cheek gently. Caroline’s breath catches at the first touch of her soulmate. She closes her eyes peacefully. The Alpha’s touch is like coming home. His touch is the softest cloud that's been woven out of an angel’s hands. Caroline sighs, leaning into the touch. Her Omega purrs in pleasure as well, having given the comfort it has been craving before they met their mate. She opens her eyes to see him staring at her lovingly. His eyes glimmer with affection, his gaze brims with unsaid promises and lovely oaths. It shows her that she’s important to him, just like Ken is to her. Caroline smiles, which gives him another opportunity to swipe his thumb over her cheek. The Alpha’s eyes are affixed at the action of his thumb intensely. It's like he's memorising the curve of her smile so that not only his eyes but his mind also remembers it through the touch. She finds it unexplainably endearing. Her emotions ooze from her in waves as her eyes fill with tears. She immediately backs away from him. Ken’s head jerks back. A frown instantly carves its way on the Alpha’s forehead. “What? What is it?” He asks. The genuine concern in his eyes makes her more emotional. She shakes her head, non verbally telling him that it's nothing, at the same time, thanking heavens for sending a mate like Ken her way. She can't elaborate how deeply ehe feels for this person, and it hasn't even been an hour since they met. “Nothing, I am just really ecstatic that I met you.” Caroline sniffs. Ken grins. The Alpha has the most beautiful smile in the whole wide world, and she wants to shout the fact from the rooftops of the damn building. “I am feeling out of this world too,” says Ken. “I can't tell you how amazing I feel right now. It feels like I am finally complete. Even though I never felt incomplete before having met you.” Caroline’s heart melts at Ken’s revelation. “Can I kiss you?” Ken blurts out. Caroline is taken aback but can't stop herself from getting excited. Her Omega already feels so safe and secure with Ken. The Alpha is the shelter that her Omega longed for all along. She can't deny the fact that she feels at ease with him too. She nods eagerly. Ken’s eyes twinkle. He leans down and plants a peck at the side of her lips. When he lifts his head, she frowns slightly. “That’s it?” Ken bursts out laughing. Caroline pouts. His face morphs into a mysterious mask in the blink of an eye. He leans closer to Caroline’s ear, speaking in a crisp tone. “Want more already? We've just met.” A shiver runs down Caroline’s back. Without a second thought, Ken plants a soft kiss beneath her ear, right where her jaw starts. She shakily exhales. Another feather-like kiss is dropped on the slant of her jaw. She clutches Ken’s shoulders tightly. Strong hands dig into her waist and the sensations unfurling in her body prepare to leak a scented slick out of her hole. Caroline’s chin catches a gentle kiss next. Something changes in the aura of both wolves when Ken’s teeth catch the mound that's Caroline’s chin, biting into it. A shock of pleasure jolts through her insides. Her scent spikes, the scent of pure roses amplifies around them. Ken squeezes her body to him tighter. The Alpha’s lips then move boldly to Caroline’s lips. A single hot lick from his tongue sends her flying into a spiral of bliss. Her plump lips flare with need. Caroline’s moans curl out of her mouth. A low growl reverberates through Ken’s chest, and Caroline’s head falls back as the blood rushes down south in her body. Ken continues to drop torture in the form of deadly kisses. Ken kisses her chin again, then moves down to the column of her neck, then to the scent gland between her collar bones. Caroline’s senses are heightened, the pleasure is a hundred times stronger, clawing its way into her senses. That's why she blinks back when cold air swishes over her. Ken’s body is not pressed against her anymore. A girl screams. Drinks are spilled. Bodies thud against the wall when Caroline turns toward the commotion. Ken has an Alpha pressed against the wall, his eyes are filthy feral with the hunger of death. Caroline watches the blood drain from the unknown Alpha’s face. The unknown Alpha tries to thrash against the wall, but is held back solely by Ken’s veiny arm on his neck. His eyes are blood red too as he looks back at Caroline before staring back at Ken. With terror this time. “Sniff my mate again and you won't have a nose to do that with in future.” The Alpha grits through his teeth. Caroline gasps. She presses her legs together in embarrassment. It’s then that the scent of roses and sweet honey reaches her. She is leaking slick. More embarrassment covers her mind, her body gets hot. This time with stress. Her scent changes, evolving into withering roses. Ken snaps his head to her over his shoulder, where he has the other Alpha pressed against the wall. Ken looks back at the Alpha dangerously now. Stepping back, he throws the man to the side like a rag doll. No one comes to the man’s rescue as Ken turns and storms toward Caroline. “We need to leave before I f*****g kill him,” Ken deeply growls to himself. His eyes go soft when he reaches her. “Are you okay?” he asks, voice gentle like flower petals. She nods, looking everywhere but at the Alpha. “f**k,” Ken mutters. “Come, let's get out of here.” He puts his hand on the small of Caroline’s back. They walk out. Ken looks worriedly at her as they step out of the club through the back entrance.
