Hello?” Kelvin answered the phone. “You never asked my name, so if I told you now, of what use would it be?” Sofia said. “Well, Sofia, you should have just identified yourself,” Kelvin responded. “So, you know my name, are you spying on me?” Sofía said, sounding suspicious. “And why would I do that? I overheard Annabelle calling your name, and if I were to spy on someone, why would I pick you? Or is there something I need to know about?” Kelvin said. “No, I was just curious. I'm sorry,” Sofia apologized. “Wow, shocked to see you apologise though,” Kelvin said. “Will you just accept the apology and not be a d**k about it?” Sofia said. “Yeah, you're right, I'm sorry,” Kelvin said. “It's fine,” “I was surprised to see your call, though. I appreciate you calling,” Kelvin said. “It's no big deal, where are you from Kelvin?” Sofia asked. “Los Angeles,” Kelvin replied. “Oh, that's nice, I always wanted to visit there someday,” Sofia said. “We'll not be that difficult,” Kelvin replied. “I know but my family still treats me like a child,” Sofia said. “Ohh I get it, but do you do whatever they say?” Kelvin asked. “Of course not,” she replied. “Good because I wanted to take you out tomorrow, will you be available?” Kelvin asked. “Ohh really, and what makes you think I will want to go out with you in the first place?” Sofia asked. “The same thing that makes you think of asking me this question,” Kelvin replied and laughed. “Really funny, fine. Pick me up by 8,” Sofia said. “Yes, ma!” Kelvin responded. “See tomorrow,” Yeah, good night,” Kelvin said. “Yeah, same,” she whispered and hung up the phone. At Base, the whole team was waiting for Kelvin to finish the call and tell them the news. “What did she say?” Theo asked. “We are going on a date tomorrow,” Kelvin said. “Mother fucker, crazy how you manage to pull this off, “ Leo said. “Yeah, but don't get too attached, Kelvin, remember you're on a mission,” Caroline said. “Yea I know” Kelvin replied. “I guess things are really going as planned,” Mateo said. “Yes it is,” Kelvin replied. “Be right back, gu,y, let me go call my girl and check up on her,” Theo said. “Yeah, sure thing, what about you? Have you spoken to your family recently?” “Yeah they're alright,” Mateo responded. “Cool, now who wants to grab some drinks to celebrate the progress,” Kelvin asked. “Yeah let's get high men, hooooooo,” Leo said. --- Meanwhile, at the Los Charros family estate, Alejandro Carlos sat in the vast living room, the dim golden chandelier light glinting off the glass of aged whisky he nursed in his hand. A thick, rich cloud of brown cigar smoke swirled lazily around him, staining the air with its pungent heaviness. The leather armchair he leaned back in creaked softly as he shifted, his dark eyes fixed on the flames dancing in the marble fireplace. The room was silent, save for the faint crackle of burning wood and the distant hum of the estate’s guards patrolling outside. Alejandro, dressed in his tailored black silk shirt with the top buttons undone, exuded an aura of calm dominance—a man who knew every corner of this city bent to his will. He raised his glass slowly, savoring a long sip before setting it down with a muted clink on the oak side table. Without looking away from the fire, his voice cut through the silence, low and commanding: “Leonardo.” A few moments later, footsteps echoed across the polished floor. His personal assistant, Leonardo, entered—neatly dressed in a gray suit, glasses perched on his sharp nose, holding a leather-bound folder in one hand. His expression was careful, controlled; he knew that every detail in Alejandro’s presence mattered. “You called for me, señor,” Leonardo said respectfully, bowing his head slightly. Alejandro exhaled a long stream of smoke, his lips curving into the faintest smirk. “Sit. There are things we must discuss.” “I'm all yours,” Leonardo responded. “Yeah, I have a little task for you to take care of,” Alejandro said. “Whatever you need,” “I need you to keep an eye on my daughter it turns out that she is seeing someone, find out who he is, get any possible information about him, and bring it to me, “ You have nothing to worry about, I will handle it,” he replied. “I have a lot of Leonardo, trust me, so.. get the job done,” Alejandro Carlos said. “Yea air copy that,” Leonardo responded.
