Where am I? I'm turning around, but nothing seems to show. Just complete darkness. Am I dead?
No, this can't be death. it feels so empty. What was I doing last? I was shopping with Chelsea. Then found out Eric was my mate. Then our argument over my job. Oh that's it! That creepy rouge from the road!
Did he kill me then? I start to cry as I shrink down to the floor. Curling my knees to my chest. Why me? I didn't even get a chance to do anything. I can't even tell anyone what happened.
"Why are you crying?" That voice, same one I heard say mate when I saw Eric earlier. I shot my head up looked around. I still couldn't see anything. I'm not scared though. I feel a sense of calmess.
"Who are you?" I ask back instead of answering her question. There's a flash of light to my right. I feel the beckoning to go towards it.
"Come on. She's waiting for us." Who's waiting? What does she mean us. At this point there's nothing more to loose right? rather be surrounded by that light then darkness.
I stand up, make my way towards it. When I reach the edge I can't help to question if I should. I shake my nerves away once again.
I walk through, in a instant I'm blinded by the light. Though it recedes to show a beautiful open field with a pond centered in the middle. The grass beneath my feet feel warm. I begin to smile as I tilt my head toward the beam Sunray shining down on my skin.
"It's a beautiful place isn't it?" I snap my eyes open and look towards the voice. A woman with long brown hair that flowed in soft curlsaround her shoulders, wearing a white dress that dropped her body perfectly. Like clouds were flowing around her.
"Who are you? Your not the voice I heard a minute ago." I question her but I don't feel nervous or worried.
"Isn't it obvious." She giggles. I swear sound like chimes from heaven. "I'm the one and only The Moon Goddess. You my child. It's time to learn about your gift." she grabs my hand guide my closer to the pond.
"My gift? I don't have any gift." I replied. "I don't even have a wolf." I look down as we wall before stopping in front of the Pond.
"Ahhh but you see you do have a wolf. She's just been protecting you." she waves her hand toward the edge of the tree line. I looked towards where she was waving. "She is your wolf Abigail."
I see the most beautiful wolf step forward. Bright White eyes glowing like a full moon with brown golden fur that when the sun hit it it started to glow. Shes my wolf? This can't be possible.
Abigail trots toward me like a happy little puppy. Although next to me now I'd say I'm the puppy. "Hi Abigail! In so happy we can be together!"
"I'm happy to talk to you finally!" She pipes in my head then starts thump her tail on the ground with excitement.
"What do you mean finally." I look at her puzzled.
"This my child is where I come in. How much do you know of your packs history?" The Moon Goddess asks.
"Not much. I know our pack was attacked and they didn't survive. Before everything happened I know my parents dropped me at my Aunts. That's the last memory I have of them." I keep looking at Abigail combing my fingers through her fur.
"Well how about I explain to you what happened?" she replies.
I turn to look at her. I've been wanting to know more since they left. I just never had anyone to tell me. Even my Aunt didn't know what happened she just felt the bond break between sisters. She knew my mom was dead not much longer after that we heard news of my pack destroyed. I'm deep in thought but why? of.cpurse I want to know. "Yes I do."
She take my hand agin and leads me to sit on the grass with her. "Now my child. This will be hard to hear. Though know they did what they did to protect you." She starts off right away. Abigail sensing my nerves building curled up beside me.
"Have you heard of the tails to why your parents pack was so strong?" the moon Goddess asks.
I shook my head continued to lace my fingers through Abigails fur. Calmness is flowing over myself.
"Your parents are some of the kindest people I watched over. The power they held, told not all wolves, but all creatures of who they were. They were caring, generous, beautiful wolves. Inside and out. They could be ruthless, though no one ever dared to question their authority."
I'm look at The Moon Goddess I nodd my head for her to continue. "You see child. Your parents showed what peace looks like between multiple creatures. When two wolves can love one another and share that with the world, they saw it too. I bestowed them the most precious gift of all. Chance to grant a gift to everyone in their pack."
Gifts? I knew people were born with added senses but not giving it to them. She see me processing then proceeds with her story. "Your parents got to work and gift each member to highlight their talent. Some born warriors but had a talent for tracking. They observe and help Chanel that energy. Some even transfer it to cooking."
She looks at my then as if she's waiting for a reply. I just nodd my head again. This is the most I've heard of my pack, my parents, anything really.
"Now tell me what does your Aunts food taste like?" she raises her eyebrow.
As if I just clicked what she was hinting at "my Aunt has a gift?!" I almost screamed at her. Of course her food always feels like home. Tastes of everything that wraps you up in warmth and love.
The Moon Goddess laughed "Yes Child, she has a gift to cook how she feels onto her food. She can project a feeling you needed to recieve like a warm hug." She smiles at me.
"So how do I get my gift?" I add quotations to the words.
She laughed again "I'm not done my story child. Patience. As I was saying your parents could see the talents and help bring them to suffice. There was one boy who caught your parents eyes. He was a orphan his parents died in a attack. Your mother took to him being such a young age and having no one else."
"This was great for the longest time he became the strongest warrior of the pack and decided the take off to travel and find his mate." She looks down at Abigail. Starts to pet her head.
"You see child. He was going away for his mate. He heard of your mother falling pregnant with you. It wasn't a unknown fact that the first heir would hold the power of both parents. It's known he wants that child." She take both of my hands gently caresses the backs of them. "That child is said see all the beauty in life even when comes to the bad things. The strength that of God's. Her wolf as eyes white as the Moon and fur shines bright with the sun."
"Wait I've heard my mom say something like that to me before she left." I look up towards her "always stay pure and see the light in every creature. Some may need a light to guide them." She genuinely smiles at me.
She pulls be into a hug the breeze starts to pick up "Abigail will be with you in here always. Soon you'll be able to shift. Soon your see your light shine bright. Though be careful I can't say much but your aware of dangers now."
"Wait don't go" I feel pannick start to set in. The Moon Goddess pulls be back for one last hug "This isn't the end. Your mate is waiting for you."
With one last final breeze around me i look around the grass shriveled away the first line began to fade. I look to Abigail quick to see her happily wagging her tail as her paws start to fade away, "We can finally be together!"
I close my eyes and feel everything start to fade.

hi there,
I know some or most have been disappointed in the updating process with this book. I would like to give my apologizes with a explanation. Least I can do.
Health is always priority one. When dealing with hard times. One self needs to take a step back and focus. specially when it involves surgery and taking care of loved ones.
Thankyou to everyone with their wondful comments. I know story kinda up in the air as to how and where things are going. With damn phone programs the typos are legit a issue with the app and spell check, but hey who doesn't make mistakes right? Specially when have thumbs flying across the screen.
I apologize again. Yes spell check Grammer system with dream program for writing is terrible. Future updates will be typed out on a another program. Will provide quick uploads for you folks as well.
