When I got to school I was starting to feel anxious. I went right to my locker and decided to skip my first period. I don't want any repeats or other unknown forms of a disaster happening.
I'll just go hand out in the library for a bit. When I got there I decided to see if I could find anything that might help me with my family. Everything I read was all the same information that I already knew.
They were loved by all. Had a unique pack with members who held powers. Had one child. Pack was ambushed in the night. Alpha Luna were murdered.
I was focused on the next book hoping something new. When I heard my name being called. I looked up it was Chelsea.
"Finally! I never could get your attention when you were reading. Happy Birthday!" she hands me a card continues to say "whatcha reading about?"
"Just my parents, or least hoping to find something new." I'm still brief scanning the book while explaining to her.
"Well.....want to stop so we can go dress shopping?" her face perks up in a smile.
"Why didn't you say so sooner!" I jumped from my seat and put the books on the cart to be put away.
We headed out the door to the school. Chelsea jingles a set of keys in my face. "Dom let me borrow his car for today." she start skipping towards a black charger.
I open the passenger door, get in and buckle up. I look over at Chelsea "sooo when did you learn how to drive?"
"Dad taught be back in the summertime. Right now I can't complain." she turns the key the engine roars to life. She pulls out of the school parking lot to head towards the mall.
When we get there Chelsea finds a place close to the front doors to park. Just a added bonus to skipping class.
"where do we start first?" I ask her. I know she know where and what to get for the whole dance. Considering I don't go shopping much. I don't mind looking around. I could use some more top, maybe even some pants.
"Considering you don't have anything. Let start with the dresss first!" she links her arm in mine. We begin our shopping spree.
Took us 3 stores but finally found the perfect red dress for myself. Chelsea found a black one. "WOW! That looks amazing on you!!" Chelsea is raving about my dress.
Deep satin red dress that hugs all my curves in the right place stops just above my knee. Low neck line. I had to do a double take. To make sure I was starring at the same person in the mirror.
"Thanks girlfriend!" I giggled at her. I'm not against dressing up going all out. It's really fun actually. Just not a everyday thing for me. Still like my leggings or sweats matched with crop top or sweater.
"All the unmated guys will be looking your way!" She's going back into a dressing room to try on some dresses even though she already found one.
"Haha yeh right." I wave her off. I don't want all the guys looking at me. Just him if anything. I purposely went for a red dress knowing everyone else would be wearing bright festive colors.
"okay! ready for some food before we accessorize our looks?" Chelsea asks.
"Yes! I'm starving!" I replied a little too eagerly.
When we got to ths food court. We decided Thai food was a must. considering we're the cook to the pack house. It's really nice to have a taste of a different culture. Specially when we didn't have to make it.
I got classic Thai Stir Fry. Chelsea got a phad Thai with extra spice. It's just a spicy hot soup in my mind. We find a place to sit and enjoy our lunch.
As we were about to turn the corner from the food court the most intoxicating smell hit me. "Can you smell that?" I asked Chelsea. I'm looking around to qt the different groups of people walking by. It's no one I see.
"I can't smell anything but perfumes." She's holding her nose in disgust. I'm also delighted see can't smell it.
"Never mind. It's probably all in my head. Let's go get our heels!" we continue down the hall to the next store.
"These are the ones!" I'm in awe. Starring at the mirror looking down at my feet. Silver stiletto heals. With a Ankle strap that lined with crystals. These are perfect!
"Those are gorgeous!!" Chelsea is in awe just as much as I. "Imagine with a simple silver chain and bracelet to match."
"This is why I bring you with me shopping. You know all the little specs and details." I giggled at her. She already has everything planned out in her head.
She shrugged her shoulders and helped me get the heels off so I can go purchase them.
"This is where you've been hiding babe? Do you really need more shoes?" Dom comes walking up behind Chelsea and I at the till.
"Well actually it's Nikitas birthday and she's shopping." She wrapping her arms around his waist, starring into his eyes. Can see him tense for a moment only to pull her closer.
"Well in that case then I could make a accepting." he sarcastically replies then looks my way "Happy Birthday. Enjoying yourself?"
"Any day is good when you have Chelsea around. Thankyou."
He smiles and stares back at Chelsea " Eric and I our grabbing our tux for grad night. Just finished lunch the bugger took off to I don't know where. I swear if I'm suppose to be beta he can't disappear all the time." he jokes
"maybe he just forgot something." Chelsea replies snuggling into does chest.
"Well since Eric bailed how about you tag along with us?" Chelsea was all giddy as she said this. You can tell their the perfect match for each other.
"lead the way baby." Dom replies to her.
We find the rest of our accessories and shop for a few other items while we're at the mall.
When we decided we had everything we need. Dom looked like he was going to never join us again. He was carrying all our bags to the car, when a black jeep pulled up behind us.
"Well I guess Eric decided to join us finally." Eric didn't acknowledge Dom. He just kept starring at me.
That when that intoxicating smell hit me again. Its Eric. There in a small unknown place in my mind I hear a faint voice say ...mate.. go to mate..
