My heart beats loudly while riding the taxi. I'm literally hyperventilating at the moment because of my mixed emotions, since this will be my first day of work. I'm feeling both nervous and excited. Nervous because this is my first time working in a new environment, a new place, with new people and a new boss. In the same way, excited because I can freely work now without Sebastian's blocklist drama. I got out of the taxi immediately after paying my fare.
In front of me is the company that I'll be working for from now on. I was thrilled at the thought that the degree I took in college would be in great use now. I have a lot of plans now. Even if I lose the L Jewelry, I’ll make sure I’m going to build a new one. I want to set up a construction firm here in Cebu.
