As the bus pulled up to the Swirl Resort, a short walk away from Old Town and also on the ocean, the guests were further amazed by the sprawling beauty of the resort and the glamour of the many guests and staff who were getting out of buses and taxis. There were all kinds of people. Jocelyn was surprised to see that there were white men there, as well as black women. Even though the Swirl marketed itself primarily as a place for wealthy, older white women to meet black dudes, it was all about mingling and it had a wide array of clientele. There were plenty of young, affluent black females who wanted to meet a rich and handsome white dude to settle down with, and the Swirl was happy to accommodate them.
