Hunter came and hugged me tightly.
"No one can touch you. I will fuc.king kill anyone who wants to come near you. Don't worry, baby. You're safe. You are fine." He whispered into my ears, and it seemed he was assuring himself more.
Asher hugged my waist and clutched my hand tightly as if he released me and I would disappear. But my mind was still somewhere else.
"Something was there!" I murmured, looking at that wolf's body.
"Where?" Hunter asked, furrowing and pulling away.
"There, near that guard's body," I said in a jarring voice and pointed towards the wolf's body.
Hunter went near that wolf's body.
He inspected it carefully and turned towards me. He loudly said, "nobody is here, Rose."
I left Asher's hand and handed him to Evelyn. I also walked near that guard
