I threw myself in Hunter's arms as soon as he stood up. I didn't care that Alana was there. I was so overwhelmed after that long fight. It was a fight for our existence, my family, and my love. I had to win at any cost. And we won.
Hunter wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. Feeling his warmth in me, I felt alive again. I wouldn't need anything in this world if I had him.
"Alana! Thank you so much for your help. Without you, we wouldn't have been able to kill that demon, Victor. We will always be grateful to you for this." Hearing him, I turned towards Alana.
Yes, we didn't thank her properly for her selfless help.
