“Damn, that was brutal!” one cadet muttered under his breath, still stunned. The others just nodded silently, unable to find words. “Snap out of it! Call the cops and get out of here!” Chen Haiqing was the first to recover, slapping his comrades back to their senses. Taking down dozens of thugs was no small matter — this place had just become a hot zone. “Boss! I’ll pay for everything — including today’s damages!” Chen Haiqing didn’t hesitate. He pulled out a thick wad of bright red bills, didn’t bother counting, shoved them into the restaurant owner’s hands, and started hustling everyone out. The gangsters lying on the ground saw the cadets coming and shrank back as if they’d just seen something terrifying, scrambling out of the way to clear a path. That let the cadets get out of there
