Nishika’s POV
I slipped and fell backwards in the water. All I did was scream. I don’t know if they heard me. I panicked as I could not swim. I tried to stay above waters by flaying my arms. In doing so, I gulped some water as I had kept my mouth open.
There were ropes near by which were kept to tie the boats. I tried to catch them but I could feel myself slipping and going deep into the water. I was trying to call out to help but then the water was going in my mouth.
All I could hear is my friends shouting for me. I closed my eyes in the fear. I did not know what to do. My mind has ceased to work due to the panic. I swayed my legs some more but due to the pressure I felt myself drowning deeper in to the depths of water.
