Chapter Eighteen I washed off the dining table and put a basic tablecloth on it, nothing fancy. Then, I put out what I considered my everyday placemats that weren't the same as the tablecloth but matched okay. I had bought some dog food, a special food and water bowl, and treat bones for Roulette that I stashed away. Roulette was impressive last night and I wanted to reward her. Felicia had been busy on her phone with several friends. Apparently, she had been scheduled to go out for a girl’s night. She was engrossed in discussing the latest gossip so she wouldn’t feel left out. I’d changed earlier in the day from the sweats into jeans and a lightweight white pointelle sweater but now I considered whether I should get those sweats back on before Mason arrived.
