The Phase two of the Empress selection exam is playing instruments. Ladies are allowed to bring any instruments they like as long as they can play the song given. They can also had an singer as the Empress are not their to sing for other people. But they can also sing one.
The East Music Hall is so wide and huge that it can have one thousand audience at once or more. It was like a sophisticated amphitheater, ans with all the ladies present, it will take time. The alloted time for every ladies to perform is one month. They can either watch the performance of others or not, depends on their will.
Most of the ladies are noble and came from a wealthy ones so this is easy for them. Many have been playing instruments for a long time and have their own tutor.
