Chapter 5
The address and location of the apartment were gone. Lillianna didn’t know if it had been accidentally deleted or if she had inadvertently filed it somewhere else in her email. However, when she ran a search, nothing came up.
It was not the time for more drama.
After the harrowing plane flight, she was in a new country and didn’t even know where she was supposed to go to find her new place of residence. Everything was made worse by her international phone service not having been established yet. She had put in the request, but still nothing. The phone continued to register “no service,” as though taunting her.
Maybe there is another way. I’ve always been resourceful. I’ve been in a lot of challenging situations, and I’ve always come up with something, she thought to herself.
