Chapter 8 Lillianna was back in her apartment and had placed the call earlier to the professor. He had accepted the meeting and would be at her office in about two hours from now. She had moved her laptop to the large dining room table in the grand reception room along with all of her other papers and books. It made the large, seemingly empty space feel more lived-in and less lonely. She didn’t think she would be having any grand Eighteenth-Century-style dinner parties in here anytime soon.
