Chapter 11
After he had gone with Lillianna to the parliament and the basilica, Árpád returned to the university for some scheduled office hours with his students. After the last student had come in and chatted with him for a while about the historical relationship and tension between the European Union and Cyprus, he had gone over to the university library. He had a bit more research to do for an article, which he hoped to present at an upcoming conference for history professors in Budapest. Árpád sat alone at a large empty table in the library’s central reading room. Reading lamps were situated at symmetrical and strategic lengths along the table’s length.
